first stage done. ended in a lucky win for saxo. but nice finish in the front group - everybody just looking at each other...
Gk - two big favorites: Ciganini and Kirchän
then:
Branco - should have taken some seconds today in the hard finish...so it might be more going for stage wins for him
Mc Fadden - probably not hard enough the stages to come - but the time trial is hard too - but actually made for Ciganini and Kirchän
Lollesgaard - will take a good place in the overall for sure
several riders dangerous for gaining time in attackes and not loosing very much on the mountains and TT:
- Kalderati, Fletcher,Tanner - all riders the ariosteas would not like to give minutes to - like Fournier already has shown when taking back the Warriors/Fletcher group.
tomorrow´s stage actually made for the saxos , Dostals, Klaas´and Lübbers again - much more than todays stage, when the group actually already had made it but blew it on the finish line. so let´s see if we get sprint or a group going...
