Milano - San Remo

Welcome to the discussion thread for this wonderful race in Italy. The Lizards will be going to start here, if I don´t sleep to long on the day to come. Several things for the team not quite sure so far: Adam´s last race or still wanting to let him ride Giro? Which team should I take? Well, the team so far might look like this:

Image Adam "The Beast" Wollfinger 72-82-77-46-56, 64 Reg:
All-time captain of the equipe wanting to show he´s learned from the field 2 win at MSR last year. Adam will again show his opponents what fear is.

Image Basil Broucek 73-81-77-50-43, 41 Reg:
Your friendly neighbourhood classic rider. Always on top, trainingslucker par excellence, will as always be the key to open doors to success.

Image Jaroslav Jendl 55-82-70-46-55, 35 Reg:
He loves the Ronde, he said. Weird for a czech rider. But classic rider is classic rider, so Jaroslav will try to find some way to the camera at the head of the field, since Lizards always go for huge classic races.

Image André Katchono 50-88-58-52-52, 50 Reg:
Flat bomber from Cameroon, average training, cool name, will surely stay in tempo or attack at one place. As sure as the sun rises next morning.

Image Clement LaCroix 55-82-73-53-55, 52 Reg:
Our great hope for several races that ... will be ridden in the next days, yeah! Clement, young brother of past-Lizard Nicolas LaCroix, will have the same status as Jaroslav (without being czech). The online difference are anyways only 3 downhill points.

Image Ndale Mbeki 56-74-73-52-56, 62 Reg:
Ndale, our man for Milano - San Remo 2011! He will learn at this race from one of the greatest of our team, Adam Wollfinger. Possibility for Ndale landing in the breakaway of the day: 69,8%.

Image Jan "The Boss" Vermaart 49-86-79-51-67, 38 Reg:
Since his name recignition arose to a new level many reporters have called the young gun Jan "The Boss" Vermaart. And since he´s the boss, he´ll know how to take part in the finale the way he likes it.

Image Kato Wolfsong 74-78-52-47-55, 37 Reg:
Kato, classic rider with the most climbing effort in the team right now. Even though Roger Teapple had skills of 79-78 and is by that the strongest Lizard classic rider ever, Kato is next to Adam, Basil, Herbie and all the others who luck themselves to strong riders one of the best trainingsluckers. For the first time he really wants to show he´s more than that: He´s a winner.

I hope i will be able to ride MSR at this time... 3 hours is a long time, although worth it, but tell that non-RSF people ;)

Team FL line-up is not yet to be made, but fixstarters are:

- Image Jens Scholz
- Image Mavolio Bent

Candidates for the other three left places are:

- Image Nico Goop, more hill power
- Image Alex Goop, more experience
- Image Guus Nederlof, more internationalism

Los Galacticos are starting here. Unfortunately it seems to me that there are some very good sprinting teams. But no problem, the race is perfect for them, no real chance for a hilly sprint.

-1- Leandro da Souza
-2- Kim Braaten
-3- Ignacio Castillo
-4- Jorge Felicandes
-5- Adriano Perreira
-6- Luiz Foguete
-7- Diego del Rios
-8- Edson Barroso

Since only 8 riders, I thought of totally riding against sprinters:

Image Adam "The Beast" Wollfinger 72-82-77-46-56, 64 Reg
Image Basil Broucek 73-81-77-50-43, 41 Reg
Image Jaroslav Jendl 55-82-70-46-55, 35 Reg
Image André Katchono 50-88-58-52-52, 50 Reg
Image Nicolas LaCroix 55-82-73-53-55, 52 Reg
Image Ndale Mbeki 56-74-73-52-56, 62 Reg
Image Wesley Sneijder 85-61-78-48-55, 46 Reg
Image Kato Wolfsong 74-78-52-47-55, 37 Reg

Totally looking forward to this race, great teams in there too: LosTicos, BSE and Neutrogena for a mass sprint, Robyklebt always a big question mark as we say in Germany, unfortunately FL not in Field 1 as it seems. Also Flocke Field 2, too bad! Would´ve loved to see more familiar teams.
