McLeod, stage and green. And yellow for Soares... Top 10 for Legrand, so all ok from the apes side finally. But pretty strange stage, lots of offliners and part time offliners... in the end the classic group and there McLeod surprised everybody a bit by winning it.
Tomorrow Rakhat will attack yellow!

Strange stage yesterday. A lot of offliners ... fl as well, not expected, cause he did not say anything. So we slowly made tempo to uphold the option of a fl victory if he comes online ... but nothing, seems that the sitter had some problems to join the race. Nevermind, change the tactic and invite the sprinters to present them the stage win. Rode the mountain really slow. But Petit Singe and RSC the most time worked alone, at km185 an unexpected sieb by Hill. Just the mountain riders, Soares and some classics in front. Escartinos joined too late the sprinters and they had no chance to come back. Meanwhile fl joined the stage and rode together with bw and at the end with ESKA to avoid attacks. An fl win by Bennsinn or rather Lichtenstein seemed legit. ESKA put all riders at a bw wheel. At the end noch chance for Xaver to win by using McLeods wheel.

First win for McLeod. Never before he had really the chance to do so, because he had to work for his all time captain Soares ... close gaps, block attacks etc. So he really deserved this win at the end of his career. On top, he will win the points classement if he reach the finish line today.

A bit surprising that bw do not try to attack Soares today ... ok, good for us.

Today we will wrap the gc up. Soares is highly motivated to win his most likely last race. Furthermore the whole team will try to win the team ranking, this would be hard, cause most of our riders are not really fit today ... will see.

At the end of his career, Soares won the last stage of this year Paris-Nice and the gc. He will decide tomorrow if he will ride the Criterium International.

GW to Soares. And GW to McLeod. I think it's nice that he also has his stage win now. But green, he could have let to Unsinn

The whole tour was not very succesful for Team FL. Always close to a stage win but still too far away. And lost green at the last "normal" stage. Seems like Hugo was busy with planning the classics...
