I will have to start in the morning. Looks like a very strong group there with Alk, Mavericks and so on.

Leader Sabrosa and Hjelmstad for Top 10 if possible.
Rodrigo Tellez - Winner of Tour Down Under 2023!!!

Leonardo parasiting :D 100 form, thought that Vlaanderen was a long shot anyway... team to sucky, which proved to be right. And manager too. So form 100 for Leibundgut and Alighieri here. Lucky that I had to ride early, so could profit from Alk after all.
The race though was unbelievably boring...
First attack, an Alk in.. oha.. ok ok, Wei goes.. no Suessem get's the group back.
Second attack, Wei goes... at the start was if Allagen and NoPik are in the group, go! If they are not, hopeless, they'll attack 100 times in the back anyway... only NoPik, ok ok, that's enough, especially if Alk showed he thinks about going too. We missed one ride basically in front, the group was good otherwise. Of course 1 more rider and they ride differently in the back.
Mav+Alk Tempo, Mav a bit too much at one point, then Alk took over... the early attack never came, although I was scared every time.. not sure why, Mavericks then would have chased, so lal ok for my parasiting hero. Often groups riding behind.. once he waited green for one, thought now the attack comes.. he later said he wanted to go there, but was blocked, not sure why... Anywy, nothing happens at all, x team with good riders, but no sprint, and no top pavé skill don't do anything... the 2 only ones that tried were: NoPik, attack for nothing really, and Allagen, the same, although the moment was very very well chosen there. Go with stronger ones and some others follow and that could have been a good group. Nothing happens, the 2 4 before Carrefour.. nothing happens, Montandon with 7xx is the strongest in tempo.. strange, but ok with me. Carrefour.... Leibundgut and Otero, Leibundgut stronger, Alighieri fighting... brrr. second km another one in, a maverick, disappointing race from him, tempo early, then he didn't seem interested in winning actually, Otero dropped... after the 2 waited, Otero controlled, from the last 1 (wasn't that a 2 last year?) on Markus in and out a bit depending on the km.... final kms Gallegos joins, sprint.... Different options... didn't feel to sure about following Sabato this time, usually do that without even thinking... but since I couldn't decide between the other otions, that's what I did.. he to my surprise had Gallegos on help.. which increased my chances.. .so 75 vs 73,5 or even less, Otero had worked, instead of 76, vs 73,6.. Ok... very close decision, Alighieri wins.. but really a boring win. Boring race, nobody tried really... and it wasn't my job to try anything with Alighieri really... x other teams, that couldn't wait for a sprint but really did. Wasn't really sure Alk would go for Sabato.. he did, lucky ape, lucky in the sprint too. Second PR win after the great Hasler! But Halser was much greater... next year no more boring parasite.. if sprint at least I want to have something to do during the race... not just wait.

5 podiums in Cat 5+ races during spring classics, in it, there's 1 win from Martin Parkkola at La Flèche Wallone, that was a very good spring classics campaign with a very average team ;)
