tc ?

I was thinking (I'm trying...). Couture of Fourmies is the one who climbed the fastest. Since he attacked at "km 2" and then made tempo all the time (I guess?).
Still at 1'17, which is... far. PRetty much. I guess without attack it could be hmmm... 1' to 1'05. With 2 or 3 riders together, who might also be stronger as Couture (form, and was he even at max energy?)... Less than 55-50". Maybe much less, I don't know. But 50" max. Every extra second lost is a waste. At least to anyone who sees Tirado one of the main favos.

i was referring to ibanez ;) hes the usual gc contender.., rasmussen was just a lil trick in my book to secure white for awhile. i thought poke was going early..

anyway i really think the 3 teams i just announced have a better form then ibanez..

2 easy sprintstages. Maybe too easy. My sprinters started at barely 900 and were able to recover.
First day, Lausitz the "big" sprinter wins. Good, he will keep riding. Second day, rasmu with sprinter nr 2 and a parasite attitude wins, and all the others go from 50...
To be noted, bruel fucked up both sprints, as expected.

Today another gc day... I've no clue of a plan yet. I need to win though...

Stage 6. 2 long climbs and a downhill arrival.

As usual, I'm too late.
At km40, there is only a very small group in front, without any favorites. I'm a bit surprised, to be honest.
Around km 50, the peloton still rides slowly. Pokemon attacks with 2 flat helpers, and I attack with a helper and nosrati, thinking that a good helper in front might be useful in case of a climbers attack.

With a 2' gap, the pelOton starts to chase us, led by RS Osti and Gismo.. That's too short for the helpers to be of any use later.
As usual, I'm unable to trust the others to do the right thing. So I start tempo with my classics to get rid of all the helpers.
A couple of kms later, still without any decent plan, Mirjaqip and Saracen decide to attack. Both followed by Booms, whose climber is 40" in front of Mirjaqip and has 58tt. A bit annoying... But ok let's try.
Then Radler finally has to react. After some kms of tempo with bummler, he decided to attack right away. Which is pretty cool for our guys in front, he could also have brought the whole peloton back, and then who knows where we end...

After a couple of kms, Tirado gets back on the 2 front guys. From then on, the is a good collaboration in the 3 men group. Behind those, Pokemon does an attack, followed by 2 rasmussens and ostfriesland. Further back, there is Gismo with a monsterclassic and his young climber, helped by both Fourmies. Who siebs the monsterclassic a bit later, which is fine :)

During the last climb and the downhill, every of those 3 groups rides as fast as possible. The bad tirado makes me fight on the hard kms... Grrr

In the end, RS Ostfriesland is able to bring his best classic back to the second climbers group at 25" of us. And chase the 3 man breakaway even harder. During the last flat kms, he is quickly closing the gap and they manage to come back at 9" with vonschlins and oshea, both strong in TT. In the sprint, Booms gets and easy win on tirado and qoshqarbaev.

All in all, It was probably a bad day for tirado, who could have expected much more then those few seconds. A good day for vonschlins, who rode as the usual idiot and was brought back by RSO, and for oishin oshea who was also in this group with a very good tt skill. But he's already 39" back on vonschlins... He really needs to get those before he can be seens as a favo.

Look, you are bilingual:
- that horrible dialect from the netherlands, why coudn't you guys just learn proper bernese, the main language of the whole group? Or if you feel Bernese is too high class for you, at least an understandeble dialect of it, like high german?
- french

Now, the word for "main group" is french. Germans tend to write it wrong. English too. But how can you write it wrong??????

@ Pokemon: until now you can/should be really happy, a lot of people are pulling you... Or at least riding with you. But what happens when they realize that it's not the good way if they want to beat you ? ;)
Ok, probably everybody is riding for a "hope" , a "surprise" or a white jersey anyway...

Nopik, yesterday i had no chance to beat von Schlins, so i had to fight against the front group.
And unlucky that Perez was too slow. Maybe he must help Gismo earlier, butno its too late. :)
