Qatar 10h

Post by team fl » Mon Feb 09, 2015 10:06 am

Next stop: Qatar. Why? Because there is no big attention needed and I don't have much time. Perfect. The following riders like that too:

x1 Phineas Federspiel
x2 Peter Kasper
x3 Eric Lichtenstein
x4 Dominikos Petrakis
x5 Robertlandy Simon
x6 Ariel Weisman
x7 Alain Yoda
x8 Barton Zwiebach

Goal: Go with the flow.

Why i got only 10sec timebonus? Thought it would be 20sec?

It's 10-6-4 for all stages. C4F general settings... Contrary to anything you might read in the race info.

First stage over with some nice action with a late attack by Cologne Procycs. Weiss almost won the stage but the peloton started to cooperate late but early enough. In the sprint, it was the trekken train that dominated all others, only to see his sprinter being dominated by Powell from Mapei who won the stage and is currently leading the GC. Behind the two of them, it was Federspiel gathering the last bonus seconds. Although the rest of the tour, besides the ITT, seems to be made for more bunch sprints, I expect good fights for stage wins and GC placements.

Podium place? Are you serious? Your goal has to be to win this shit! Nothing else...

why not?
but i have not top form, and in 10 km. , with 1 point advantage, luck can make a big difference...i lose already a 35 km cronorace, my rider 90 against mosca 85, and i was 100 form!

well, then that's what might happen, but it can't be your goal with the best time trialist only to be on podium. That goal isn't even a challenge when the only question is who gets first and second in the GC.

And as expected, SantiNelli wins the ITT, even 7 secs in front of Leonardo. Rest some more time behind them. Will be interesting to watch if there is still a fight about the GC.

I hope i will win 1 time with zabel. The only thing we can win is the green jersey. Hopefully The Trekken Train will do a good job

Again the rider hanging on Danilo's wheel wins. Maybe it is time for a tactic change in the sprint for you. Now that Phineas profitted from it too ;)

I saw the sprint and would say that you certainly could have waited longer. Dreizehn was really far back in the end.

You mean trekken? Thought the same, a sprint from 50m with Danilo could have worked. But you never know. People on my wheel were sprinting from 100m too. Powell, etc.

Bad luck at Friday 13th for trekken. Once he wins the sprint in the peloton, there is a winner out of a group. First stage win for Sierra, trekken with another chance tomorrow, although his team seems not to be the fittest anymore. In the GC, nothings done yet, Leonardo only 2' behind SantiNelli after gathering lots of bonus seconds at the IS during the last two stages. Green seems to be set for Powell after the "non-sprint" today. Although Zabel might still have a little chance.

San Valentino day, is a good day for my team: at end after an hard fight we can save the Yellow jersey, Alberto Santinelli win also the White jersey, Santiago Razcon got the third place in the GC and also the Team classment is in the palmares!

I was not sure if i can defende the yellow jersey, 1 points more in TT is not really much, and Cologne team was very dangerous, really strong, and sure better then mine.

Final table:

14.02.2015,10 Uhr Qatar
1. Place: Alberto SantiNelli (Auxilium Torino)
2. Place: Hector Leonardo (Cologne Procycs)
3. Place: Santiago Razcon (Auxilium Torino)
Sprint jersey: Danilo Zabel (trekken)
Young riders jersey: Alberto SantiNelli (Auxilium Torino)
Team classment: Auxilium Torino

Gw to Sam Powell (Mapei), with 2 stage win, Phineas Federspiel (Team FL), Tom Kelderman (Sierra de Madrid), Marco Haller (trekken), all 3 with 1 stage win, and expecial to Danilo Zabel (trekken) for the green jersey win at last km., after an also hard fight with Powell!
