Bah, always the women. This time Frida with her unsuccessful attack. Grrr... But GW Aix, who did not try to watch her behind. Hehe.

Lennox is full concentrated on cycling .. He'll be allowed to have a wife after his career !
Petit Singe: Aix croit toujours qu'il sera important dans le real life, RSF bah, pas trop ambitieux, NoPik a compris que il n'aura jamais le succes qu'il peut avoir ici en real life, alors il donne tout pour RSF!

Yellow gone to Samurais, but still Green for Lennox, who now is also my favorite for the Points classement. Red defended too, good stage for Aix it seems. But the big winner today is of course Schmarotz. Of course he is the big favorite in the flat stages of this tour, but having the team with the second best sprinter trying to escape and not helping at all and the team with the third best sprinter trying to escape in the end was not really expected. Anyway, it worked out well, also thanks to Edelweiss, who unfortunatly did not that well in the final sprint.

Tomorrow will be short and interesting. Interesting to see how much time the Hubers can leave the climbers as a burden for Sunday. But if everything runs normally, I still bet on them to be able to win Burgos.

Tomorrow we will see, who'll be the favorite ;-) Samurais shouldn't be scared too much as Frida won't ride against Jini unless yellow is at stake. Today unfortunately Saffunzanos ruined my ingenious plan with his attack, which was a bit too early. Anyway, Julio still got the mountain points and Vargas got his usual 5th place. So Team Alkworld continues to keep a low profile here.

I think Samu is able to take 1'30" on Lennox .. which will be ok to win the tour !

After the time trial, there is a lot clearer: Luigi sucks in TT, Gabriel is a cheater, there was not enough time to get for the Hubers, Saffunzanos has the two best time trialists. At the moment the GC for the favorites looks like this (Although Leif Trondal from RV Zahna is wearing yellow, I don't think that he will make it for the podium):

0:24 Jinichi Nasawa (Samurais) -> mountain 82
0:25 Mirjalol Qosimov (Team Edelweiss) -> mountain 80
1:03 Pape Diop (Us Avesa) -> mountain 85
1:24 Tom Lennox (Aixteam) -> mountain 86
1:31 Gabriel GaricaMarquez (Alkworld) -> mountain 86
1:36 Paco Gonzales (Camebridge) -> mountain 86
1:37 Luigi Mastrangelo (Team FL) - mountain 88

There are 7 more 80+ riders in the back, most notable Marcus Mubarak from Junior Racers with 1:57 and mountain 87. But I guess, the GC will be a case for the riders mentioned above. On the paper, Alkworld has the best team for the stage on Sunday. He should be able to isolate at least Luigi Mastrangelo and Tom Lennox, but not Pape Diop and Marcus Mubarak who both have one helper for the mountains (78 and 77). The question is, would it help Gabriel in the end for the tour win? Still, with 86 mountain Gabriel has only 1 more than Diop and still two less than Mastrangelo, not to forget Lennox, still not knowing the form for sure. And there are still the Hubers. In my opinion, they have a very difficult position, especially Quosimov, who will be isolated early too. Nasawa is hard to tell. Samurais has a good team too. But the TT turned not out that well for them, obviously.

Short conclusion: Very very interesting to see what happens. I really don't know on who I should bet. But I have a feeling how it will end. Of course I won't tell, otherwise it's not that much fun anymore ;)

Yesterday's result could have been so different, if it weren't for those many if's.
- If I had known that Jini and Zhukov get dropped by Frida on the 1st 8%, Frida wouldn't have gone back to Julio => different race
- If I would have thought of Tatsuki when attacking at 4%, I wouldn't have attacked and just have continued making tempo => Leif would have lost more
- If Jini could have followed at 4% => different race again

I have to learn to better predict the future ;-)
