Tirreno - Adriatico 21:00

Post by el Galactico » Fri Mar 04, 2011 1:14 pm

Next try to get my motivation back!

I will start at 21:00 with the following not completely clear team:

1 Sebastian Araujo
2 Slevin McGuigan
3 Stephan Auge
4 Adriano Perreira / Oswaldo Iguacu
5 Inacio Araujo
6 Arturo Sarrabal
7 Alexandre Geniez
8 Johnnie Walker
9 Guilherme Callado/Joaquim Tigre

Salary: 533k / 491k / 457k

Chances are fairly good for Tigre instead of Callado who would make not that much sense i think. Iguacu also with chances because Perreira will be not that important if Callado is missing. So i guess best chances for the cheapest version of these 3.
Goal is for sure a good TTT training with a white jersey at the end.Depending on the opponents its gonna be very hard to get it. Maybe a stage win, but dont know how and when. TTT would be cool but there will always be better ones.

2 Fields is generally good, but unfortunately there are some guys in F2 which i wanted to see in the first one.
And its annoying, seems to become the field of the time trialists :(

Stage 1: TTT Marina di Carrara (17 km)

1. Skullz
2. ByZickl +0:38
3. RSC Uningen +0:51
4. Radlerinnen +0:53
5. Team Gismo +0:58
6. Los Galacticos +1:12
7. Gnoien +1:19
8. Merz Racing +1:24
Team Suessem
10. Team Bratbecker +1:35
11. Hansa-Team +1:45

GC: Skullz seems to have already won this tour. Should be a more than easy win for him.
Green: Sprinters have to fight, 2 stages to win for them against 5 other stages where different guys can get their points, should be a quite open fight for green.
Red: Its the same, everybody who wants it has a chance, decision on stage 4 and 5.
White: MY goal. I see chances for 3 riders all in all. First there is Razvan Pirvu (Zickl) who is the best tt and is already in front 13 and 34 seconds.
Second is Ruben Makkatu (Unlingen), 13 seconds behind Pirvu and 21 in front of Araujo. Not good in tt but 7 mountain points more than Pirvu can be deciding before the last tt. Araujo the best climber but does he win enough time to stay in front of Pirvu and Makkatu? Pirvu may not be the leader, a big minus for him. Same for Makkatu, it depends hardly on the goals of their managers, if they are needed as helpers it should become not that big problem to win white.
Tomorrow first sprint stage: 5 sprinter who into a range of 2 sprint points. Could become interesting.

Really not funny to ride in field two. Big chaos. Favos off. no tempo at the end.
13min gap for the group. no work in the group at the end 20 sek gap. damn it.
