That was a fucking good stage !
Incredible !
Cieza siebed 2times, came back in group2 2times with 2kms of alone work. The small group of classic riders catched by elaska and wheel.
Between the grouping of the peloton and the classic guys, Vermaart did a suicide attack, killed his chances of GK and green with one attack and some kms of alone tempo vainly.
Then, waited fot the attack of Wiz in the -5%, he did it, perfect, just to come back and sieb on the 3*** with lafleche, fresh. 15kms to the finish line with lafleche and DeLeon tempo. Impossible to avoid the 5kms attack of IDF, but at the end, I keep my jersey, and my rival is out, Vermaart is out.
Tomorrow I will have to control a lot, but the victory is close.
That will be incredible for me to win tomorrow, with Cieza DeLeon, a 46-84 (82pavés), 35years old !
Tomorrow, maybe a scenario like that : Sieb, control by me, attacks, followers, sprint ? I hope for a sprint ...
Fight for green will be interesting, Cieza have still some chances, but tomorrow he'll arrive tired at the sprint, Gautherie, Kilkov, Vermaart (really tired tomorrow?), Muller are the favos !

Hiyaaaaaaaah , Lionel's power !Gautherie, Kilkov, Vermaart (really tired tomorrow?), Muller are the favos !
Gautherie with 75 pavés so strong, I should've ridden for Clausen I guess. Yep, just to complete - really bad stage from me, Victor killed for what? Afterwards it was just not good. Who rode good was again OL, Aix aswell good. Müller attacks not on pavés, absolutely unnecessary. But de facto by that lost many followers. Wanted to join his wheel right the second after the attack must've been, that annoyed me^^
Yep, so 3rd for Dick and white jersey, that's what we wanted at least + stage, but we gave away the chance for Clausen to win stage 3, so...
Well, all in all I was riding good stage 3 with just one little mistake, and maybe stage 4 good tries, but never perfect. Pretty much I was doing a bad tour at all, so not pleased with my performance - also behaviour..
Congrats to the winners, see again at Sachen-Pavés.
