His 3 riders were caught shortly after, I don't know if he dropped on his own or not. But Gala had impact on gc and Bahrain won the race.flockmastoR wrote: ↑Sun Jan 22, 2023 7:16 pmI also see a possible FSG Sattelpupper team attack at km 114, was this the case?
I`am guilty.flockmastoR wrote: ↑Sun Jan 22, 2023 7:16 pmI also see a possible FSG Sattelpupper team attack at km 114, was this the case?
Also a team attack by Bahrain-Merida at km 111?flockmastoR wrote: ↑Sun Jan 22, 2023 7:16 pmI also see a possible FSG Sattelpupper team attack at km 114, was this the case?
bring the facts so that we can form our own opinion on possible influence on race outcomeLos Galacticos(22:43): btw clearly we could have shown a better reaction to the attack from yesterday. but GC would have been no real change imo. Bahrain & I could have even used our leaders earlier in the worst case and would have made the gap even bigger
When I looked at the history after the end of the race, I saw in the chat that this was at least addressed and at first not everyone was sure if it was a team attack. There was talk about the group size and the individual attacks.flockmastoR wrote: ↑Mon Jan 23, 2023 3:24 pm3) How did the others react - how did the group constellation influence their own race plans/outcomes
4) Who did the pace in the group and why was the illegal attack not stopped (there was time enough to check the rules / were there discussions about it?)
Of course the guy that doesn't even understand a little bit of the situation had to do a stupid comment as well. Why do you even bother to comment when you clearly have no idea about the issue??? Congrats to that!
This is not an argument and I find it shocking that teams with 1858 races, despite existing suspicion, are not able to find out whether the action was ok or not. Because if you had only checked the inscription rules, it would have become clear very quickly. Drop Arteaga and Hincapie and all is fine.- Nobody was sure there was even a team attack happening at first
Concerning the "intentional" or not, there is no difference. While Bahrain-Merida has admitted to having done something wrong, you still don't show that you did. And you still act like you are the victim in this case. People watched the race in the spectator chat, and the way you comment on what they say tells a lot. About the impact on the race, yeah we considered this, see below.I just think that these kind of things should be judged considering the situation and the impact it had on the race. It was no intentional so consider that as well.
There is a reasonable suspicion that by the illegal team attack at least it can not be excluded to influence the GC in favor of the manager who committed the illegal attack. A few seconds up and down in terms of arrival time is one thing. The other is that Tellez got bonus seconds on the stage. What would the result have been if the other group members had not faced 3 competitors each from Los Galacticos AND Bahrain-Merida? Probably Tellez doesn't get the Bonusseconds after all. So even at this ONE stage it cannot be ruled out, that you won the needed 10 extra seconds. Additionally, it lead to a different situation for the most important final stage.- Hincapie for Bahrain did 3-4 kms of tempo If I remember correctly - with this causing the only difference of a few seconds in GC but surely not the 10 seconds that were missing for Toto at the end.
You created an illegal team attack that led to the new situation and you didn't do anything to stop it, both your 3rd and BMs third riders stayed and influenced the race.I didn't tell him to do that either so why do I get fined for that now?
Well do it in a legal way next time and noone will have a problem with it. I don't doubt, that you are able to beat him in a legal way at that day, but you decided, intentionally or not, to do it with an illegal team attack. But why change the overall tour?? The attack would have happened and ended in the same way anyway. There is no reason to step in an change the result of the whole tour. Toto would have lost anyway. If not by 10 seconds then by 3/4/5 or whatever small amount.
And concerning the fine. What you call as "little extra on top" is the actual fine. It depends whether or not the team is experienced, whether or not the action influences the race, whether or not the manager is insightful / already tries to solve the situation in the race. What you call as fine is the compensation of the illegally won price money. Of course this is taken from you. And as we considered, that it also influenced the GC result it is more than what you listed above. In my opinion a fine should have been something like taking away the GC seconds for Arteaga & Hincapie or whoever you consider the 3rd guy from Bahrain. Take away the money of the stage and GC gain for the number 3 guys as a fine and if you want to put a little extra on top.
I have said from the beginning that I did something wrong. Never have I denied it. I complain about the extend of the fine and the senseless inclusion of the overall GC situation. Yes, I comment on people from the spectator chat that try to picture the situation as if I won 46 seconds by this attack. It is simply a completely false statement and you should know that if you just spent about 10 seconds with this case.Concerning the "intentional" or not, there is no difference. While Bahrain-Merida has admitted to having done something wrong, you still don't show that you did. And you still act like you are the victim in this case. People watched the race in the spectator chat, and the way you comment on what they say tells a lot. About the impact on the race, yeah we considered this, see below.
Thanks! I don't need more from you than this. Together with defending the completely false statement from cataracs it shows very well that you have no idea what really happened in this race. When the rest of this committee thinks the same than you in your statement then of course it leads to your completely nonsense decision.- Hincapie for Bahrain did 3-4 kms of tempo If I remember correctly - with this causing the only difference of a few seconds in GC but surely not the 10 seconds that were missing for Toto at the end.

This part is the biggest joke. Did you even try to understand for 1 minute what happened? The other is that Tellez got bonus seconds on the stage. What would the result have been if the other group members had not faced 3 competitors each from Los Galacticos AND Bahrain-Merida? Probably Tellez doesn't get the Bonusseconds after all.

Of course you won this time with Arteaga and Bahrain-Merida with Hincapie, thats why we corrected their GC position (that was the easy part because it was pretty clear). The situation about Tellez was more complicated and I tried to explain what was the thinking behind the solution.Together with defending the completely false statement from cataracs it shows very well that you have no idea what really happened in this race
I already said it was wrong and we should have reacted better, right? But one question still stays unanswered: Why didn't you just check the fair play rules when the chat already discussed if it is ok or not?
Team Uapparill was fined twice for team attacks and Team Toto was fined multiple times in the past, adding up to being banned at the moment. If you disagree with any of those cases, you can now appeal in the respective threads.el Galactico wrote: ↑Sun Jan 29, 2023 10:41 amI just hope that from now on you also try to protect the game as hard as you did with me with guys like Team Uapparill who can still roam free and destroy every race he is in or of course Toto when he will eventually be back again to insult people again.
is weak, so you shouldn't wonder about being called out about it. All you had to do was check. Inscription. Yes, now you say you were wrong, the question is why nobody seems to have bothered to check and make it clear. In the end that's your and Bahrain's job, your job to make sure you have it right. Now answering the question: Why didn't you check" like this...el Galactico wrote: ↑Fri Jan 27, 2023 4:55 pm- Nobody was sure there was even a team attack happening at first
Is not answering, but evading.el Galactico wrote: ↑Sun Jan 29, 2023 10:41 amI already said it was wrong and we should have reacted better, right?
What else is there to say?
My complaint is not about if we did something right or wrong. That is a clear case.
