Seibu / Inashiro abusing team reset?

Post by Berlin Marks » Mon Nov 02, 2026 8:01 am

Maybe it’s nothing for the FairPlay thread more for the “technic” thread.

Inashiro bought the Falcor sprinter with 500k over market value and I was wondering how is such an experienced player like him overpaying so much?

Well now I know it. He bought this rider on 30. Oktober and he got relegated to div 6 on 1st of November. So it wasn’t a pain for him to spend so much money on a sprinter when you are able to reset your team and buying that rider back for market value and 500k less money.

Maybe it’s not against the rules, because there are no rules written against such a movement. But maybe we should think about how the reset system should work.

Well this is really another indicator why we should make resets for non-noobs way stricter and why the 20 mio start capital is way too high. Disgusting move imo

I tried the same with: Oluf Høst (and other 3 riders, see below) now a 23yr 90 sprinter in the team of Belgium. But i wasnt able to buy him. It was technical not possible for me.
2026-09-01 Sale Oluf Høst $2,199,535
2026-09-01 Sale Mathias Kvist $1,741,433
2026-09-01 Sale Henrik Toft $1,211,020
2026-09-01 Sale Albin Molnár $1,810
Those riders above i wasnt able to buy after reset.
And yes those riders where in the same div market (div6)
Buying the same day and days after was not possible for me.
So why was Seibu able to do this and i wasnt able to do?

(I still regret my action, thats why i now react to help the game: this is not against Seibu or a future team trying this)

Did you sell those riders manually before you did the reset oder did you just reset and they got sold automatically?

If I remember right, you have to sell everyone before you can do a reset

I think this belongs in the technic thread indeed. Seibu didn't break a single rule, not even an unwritten one.

Did he do what's best for his team? Because I see he massively overpaid for a rider I (hypothetically)really wanted and then had to do an reset, because that fee was ridicolous.

I am pretty sure he gained an unfair advantage by the fact he planned to go down and reset.

This is not Fairplay in a general understanding. I wouldnt rule out by default that it is not against any written rule but that's up for the FPC to judge
