Fair Play Notice

A recent review of account activity has identified multiple violations of our rules regarding the use of multiple accounts.

- Owning multiple accounts: It is prohibited to create more than one account per user to play the game. Multi accounts will be deleted.
- Usage of VPNs: To fight multi accounts, the use of browsers or extensions that let the user hide and change their IP constantly without plausible explanation is not allowed.

We are offering a final opportunity for voluntary disclosure. If you are using more than one account, please contact Alkworld or Gipfelstuermer via forum PM within the next 48 hours, and no later than Friday, 23:59 CEST.

Players who do not self-report by the deadline risk losing access to Tour de France registration. After the deadline, violations will be addressed based on the available evidence.

Fair Play Update

After completing our investigation, we can confirm that multiple cases of multi-accounting have been discovered.

Only some of the affected players chose to self-report. All identified multi accounts have been banned. Teams whose multi accounts were not self-reported have additionally lost their access to the Tour de France.

We are aware that many of you would like to see the evidence. Please understand that there is clear and conclusive evidence for every action taken. However, we cannot share this evidence publicly, as doing so would reveal methods that are important for detecting and combating multi accounts in the future.

Further sanctions and possible fines will be discussed by a newly formed Fair Play Committee in the near future.

We also want to clarify that members of the Fair Play Committee were involved in the investigation. However, because teams connected to members of the committee were themselves involved, the case could not be handled through the committee's official process in order to avoid conflicts of interest. Therefore, the investigation and decisions were handled separately while still making use of the committee members' expertise where appropriate.

ich glaub so nen Jahr nachdem r Quick alles verkauft hat, hab ich mir ein neues Team gemacht "Fallen of Albaz" und habs auch auf 61 Rennen gebracht. War aber wieder inaktiv bevor ich offiziell zurück bekommen bin während der diesjährigen pave saison - obwohl das Albaz Team echt brauchbar dafür gewesen wäre.

Anyway, zuerst war der Gedanke incoknito zurückzukommen, you know... eine weiße Weste haben, aber nachdem ich während des incoknito comebacks nicht wirklich die mega lust an ein dauer comeback gefunden hab und man auch nicht unbedingt auf die frage "wie hieß dein altes team?" ständig lügen will, dann doch mit altem Account... aber neuem Namen. Eine symbolische weiße Weste sozusagen.

Nun. Keine Ahnung, wie sehr dich die Story interessiert aber, ich hab natürlich auch den Regelverstoß bewusst in Kauf genommen und mich aktiv dafür entschieden. Nachdem ich beide Teams nie auch nur annähern gleichzeitig benutzt hab, hab ich aber auch nicht die Notwendigkeit gesehen das zu melden.

I think this should go under bugs. As it is clearly a bug and circumvent the ban. I will take a look at it and delete the riders from the transfer market. And will ask the FPC to consider this ban escape for the falcor case. Doesn't matter it it is from a bug or technical cheat. Falcor also found a ways to circumvent his main team's ban on day 1 to re-inscribe, this should also be a point added. He also refuse to answer me how he did it.

Multis because you like the game, addicted as you said. I assume that your love for the game hasn't changed? Then why not help the admins by telling them how you did it (whatever "it" refers to in WZF answer, the re-inscribing or the selling) to help them close loopholes? The one reason not to answer would be since nothing is done anyway, I reported at least one bug that could nicely be abused in some situations, and of course last time I checked was still there....I might have to start using it?
