Good morning Freaks,
Will explain my riding yesterday.
It was clear that I was wrong yesterday, sorry for that!
I am now in a holiday home with very poor WiFi.
Last night I was very tired. Have to entertain 5 young children here. My wife lay next to me during our race and thinks games are really stupid anyway. Dreizehn his comment in the forum about my Giro setup had made me extra fanatical.

fought a little too hard, because you can escape with several riders on a 4+ slope, but only by following, I had forgotten that in the heat of the moment.
Bad WiFi, nagging wife and the escape I was in danger of missing. A stupid amateurish Team attack, which looks like something you do on purpose, but it was really an accident.
My 5 best riders were involved in the team attack. When I realized it was a team attack, I immediately stopped riding. We were signed in by the peloton in no time. My 5 riders where quite under reg, because attacking uphill simply costs more energy.
There was my idea gone to collect points for the points classification and mountains classification. My wife needed my phone to sort through vacation photos and I hurriedly went offline.

When my wife was done with this, I came back online. I sat quietly in the peloton: well, calmly, the peloton had kept the gap with the leading group small. I then put a rider at the head of this peloton to make the gap even smaller. Then I made the jump to the leading group with 2 riders. It still earned me some points. Give me pushback and I'll fight harder.

So know that no matter how stupid it sounds and looks, it was an accident, in all the hectic times.
The FPC may find something on this.
I didn't benefit from it at all: I think i suffered most from it. Ultimately, I think I solved the team attack in the right way.
