RC Cost team attac Britain 15 H.

Post by veloxPIEMONTE » Tue Sep 12, 2017 4:19 pm

Scrivo in italiano, poi provo inglese
Britain ore 15

RC Cost: for me I did nothing wrong now but I drop him before you cry
VeloPiemonte : no, you muts drop when tempo and not stop tempo and drop and come back
VeloPiemonte : this was really unfair, you play to be me smarter, i write now in forum
RC Cost: whats your problem I dropped one?
VeloPiemonte : after when nobody ride, is not the same and now ride, you lose 1 minutes on mountain and not 1 second
RC Cost: i let him fall and ride again not forbidden or am I wrong?
VeloPiemonte : ok, you got a fine, for me, you think all are stupid
VeloPiemonte : is not fair play
VeloPiemonte : let one fail, please
VeloPiemonte : RC COST; was a clear team attac, drop one rider
VeloPiemonte : you must 1 drop, is not ok
VeloPiemonte : one drop please
VeloPiemonte : team attac cost

This must have been the most harmless and irrelevant, unintended team attack ever :)

I replayed the race. This is a very interesting case. It is a Team attack according to rule 3 on km 128, because three riders from RC Cost followed two veloPiemonte riders there (no exception triggered). But due to the fact that it was a farmer trick from veloPiemonte, who then siebed on km 129 (8%), RC Cost had no opportunity to react properly, like f.e. in a situation of a km 1 attack for an escape group. Nevertheless, RC Cost did react AFTER the sieb and let fall one rider out of the new main group (having all riders in that group), while nobody did tempo. Then he rode back into that group with that particular rider. So it seems veloPiemonte had no intent to keep that rider away from the group anyway, although he had the chance to do so. Anyway, it was impossible for RC Cost to let the "third" rider fall back into the original group he attacked/followed out of. So for me, it is clear that this incident does not deserve a penalty at all.

Nevertheless, this seems to be some kind of a loophole for following before a possible sieb. So maybe the FPK should be aware that such a Situation could be taken advantage of. But I have to admit, I like the fact that a farmer trick failed by doing so ;).
I didn't mean to say it. But I meant what I said.
