OMG Berlin riding against his own interest Barbados Vacation Race

In 13h Barbados Vacation race, sprint with 3. Kerken in front, Hözel (AAD) in his wheel, then Böhm (OMG) who was dead from previous attacks and stood close to no chance. Hözel launches at 250m in order to reposition the trio, but Böhm is for some reason not following Hözel, but Kerken instead. No way for Kerken to get Hözel back so he wins.

There is 0 reason for Böhm to be hanging on Kerken at that point. OMG immediately goes to congratulate Hözel/AAD, who he clearly likes a lot. A little later he says:

OMG Berlin(14:51): das war so einfach...ihr bekommt ja nicht mal nen Sprint hin ....hh

Translated: That was so easy… you can’t even manage a sprint… haha.

Pretty clear to me that he knew he had no chance and just wanted to gift his friend AAD here and then laugh at me after. He had literally 0 reason to not follow Hözel, besides gifting him the stage.
