His 3 riders were caught shortly after, I don't know if he dropped on his own or not. But Gala had impact on gc and Bahrain won the race.flockmastoR wrote: ↑Sun Jan 22, 2023 7:16 pmI also see a possible FSG Sattelpupper team attack at km 114, was this the case?

Hello,
More reports from race spectators or race participants would be helpful. Anybody who saw this and can confirm what happened after km 111 ? Did the accused gain an (unfair) advantage from the attack?

Re: Teamattacke Gala
We are still missing details of what has happened after km 111. So it would be really nice of the accusated teams to deliver the details! (as well as other teams in the race and spectators)
1) What did the 3 Los Galacticos riders do in the group, what was their influence on the race outcome
2) What did the 3 Bahrain-Merida riders do in the group, what was their influence on the race outcome
3) How did the others react - how did the group constellation influence their own race plans/outcomes
4) Who did the pace in the group and why was the illegal attack not stopped (there was time enough to check the rules / were there discussions about it?)
Taken from the chat the day after the team attack, just for documentation!

bring the facts so that we can form our own opinion on possible influence on race outcomeLos Galacticos(22:43): btw clearly we could have shown a better reaction to the attack from yesterday. but GC would have been no real change imo. Bahrain & I could have even used our leaders earlier in the worst case and would have made the gap even bigger

Re: Teamattacke Gala
When I looked at the history after the end of the race, I saw in the chat that this was at least addressed and at first not everyone was sure if it was a team attack. There was talk about the group size and the individual attacks.flockmastoR wrote: ↑Mon Jan 23, 2023 3:24 pm3) How did the others react - how did the group constellation influence their own race plans/outcomes

Unfortunately, that's all I can add. Maybe someone else has the race chat available.
Re: Teamattacke Gala
I was offline the complete stage
Re: Teamattacke Gala
For public information: Los Galacticos and Bahrain-Merida have been both fined for an illegal team attack. Points and money earned during the stage and in the GC due to their team attack will be reduced accordingly.
I didn't mean to say it. But I meant what I said.

Re: Teamattacke Gala
For the record: I do not agree with the decision of the "FPC"
Of course it was a team attack and I don't care about the money that was taken away from me.
Of course there should be a fine for it even if it was completely unintentional and without a real impact.
I disagree with the change of GC!!!
They claim that the attack changed the GC in a way that it is enough to take away the win from me which is complete bullshit.
Tellez won the GC by 10 seconds which is definitely not the advantage he got just from this attack.
I can't understand how you can come to such a conclusion if you would really consider the facts and how the race went on.
It just shows me that this consideration didn't happen in this case.
I will consider this a stolen win by the so-called "FPC" and will see my GC stats with a +1 from now on.
I am upset because I tried to cooperate but my point of view was just ignored.
So at the end the bully Toto in a way got what he wanted.
Sorry about my frustration but I think we can agree that everybody wants to be treated in a fair way even if it is just a game.

Re: Teamattacke Gala
As someone with an outside but neutral perspective.
Bahrain claimed in a racechat yesterday that you lost 260k. Not sure if that was 260k after cancelling your tour win or just the 260k because they cancelled your tour win.
In any way are both of you guys seasoned veterans and should know what a teamattack is. Apparently you even mentioned doubts in the chat and still chose to do nothing and continue with the team attack.
That alone, taking your overall value into account, makes it a low fine imo. Surely 260k aren't a meaningful fine for somebody with your team. So in a way, cancelling your tour win is the only meaningful punishment. The one which hurts and which will make you and other teams reconsider in the future.

Re: Teamattacke Gala
Tellez won the GC by 10 seconds and gained 46 seconds in the race where the team attack happened, so it's logical if the FPC cancels the win in my opinion, you shouldn't be mad about it.

Re: Teamattacke Gala
Of course the guy that doesn't even understand a little bit of the situation had to do a stupid comment as well. Why do you even bother to comment when you clearly have no idea about the issue??? Congrats to that!
For the rest:
I just think that these kind of things should be judged considering the situation and the impact it had on the race. It was no intentional so consider that as well. It is an overly harsh reaction to a situation where basically nothing happened & certainly GC was not changed at least for the Top 3 guys.
Again:
- Nobody was sure there was even a team attack happening at first
- For me: Arteaga did a few kms of helping towards the end of the stage but no tempo or whatsoever (close to no difference at all)
- Hincapie for Bahrain did 3-4 kms of tempo If I remember correctly - with this causing the only difference of a few seconds in GC but surely not the 10 seconds that were missing for Toto at the end. I didn't tell him to do that either so why do I get fined for that now?
Toto didn't lose the tour because of this attack. He just lost it because is an incompetent manager and refuses any tempo to defend whatever he has.
In my opinion a fine should have been something like taking away the GC seconds for Arteaga & Hincapie or whoever you consider the 3rd guy from Bahrain. Take away the money of the stage and GC gain for the number 3 guys as a fine and if you want to put a little extra on top.
But why change the overall tour?? The attack would have happened and ended in the same way anyway. There is no reason to step in an change the result of the whole tour. Toto would have lost anyway. If not by 10 seconds then by 3/4/5 or whatever small amount.
Like I said I think the decision is very harsh for what really happened and to me shows really poor judgement from the FPC.
If this is meant to be an example for the following cases then at least say it but don't pretend to be fair and don't call it fairplay-committee, because it is not fair!

Re: Teamattacke Gala
This is not an argument and I find it shocking that teams with 1858 races, despite existing suspicion, are not able to find out whether the action was ok or not. Because if you had only checked the inscription rules, it would have become clear very quickly. Drop Arteaga and Hincapie and all is fine.- Nobody was sure there was even a team attack happening at first
Concerning the "intentional" or not, there is no difference. While Bahrain-Merida has admitted to having done something wrong, you still don't show that you did. And you still act like you are the victim in this case. People watched the race in the spectator chat, and the way you comment on what they say tells a lot. About the impact on the race, yeah we considered this, see below.I just think that these kind of things should be judged considering the situation and the impact it had on the race. It was no intentional so consider that as well.
There is a reasonable suspicion that by the illegal team attack at least it can not be excluded to influence the GC in favor of the manager who committed the illegal attack. A few seconds up and down in terms of arrival time is one thing. The other is that Tellez got bonus seconds on the stage. What would the result have been if the other group members had not faced 3 competitors each from Los Galacticos AND Bahrain-Merida? Probably Tellez doesn't get the Bonusseconds after all. So even at this ONE stage it cannot be ruled out, that you won the needed 10 extra seconds. Additionally, it lead to a different situation for the most important final stage.- Hincapie for Bahrain did 3-4 kms of tempo If I remember correctly - with this causing the only difference of a few seconds in GC but surely not the 10 seconds that were missing for Toto at the end.
You created an illegal team attack that led to the new situation and you didn't do anything to stop it, both your 3rd and BMs third riders stayed and influenced the race.I didn't tell him to do that either so why do I get fined for that now?
Well do it in a legal way next time and noone will have a problem with it. I don't doubt, that you are able to beat him in a legal way at that day, but you decided, intentionally or not, to do it with an illegal team attack. But why change the overall tour?? The attack would have happened and ended in the same way anyway. There is no reason to step in an change the result of the whole tour. Toto would have lost anyway. If not by 10 seconds then by 3/4/5 or whatever small amount.
And concerning the fine. What you call as "little extra on top" is the actual fine. It depends whether or not the team is experienced, whether or not the action influences the race, whether or not the manager is insightful / already tries to solve the situation in the race. What you call as fine is the compensation of the illegally won price money. Of course this is taken from you. And as we considered, that it also influenced the GC result it is more than what you listed above. In my opinion a fine should have been something like taking away the GC seconds for Arteaga & Hincapie or whoever you consider the 3rd guy from Bahrain. Take away the money of the stage and GC gain for the number 3 guys as a fine and if you want to put a little extra on top.

Re: Teamattacke Gala
I have said from the beginning that I did something wrong. Never have I denied it. I complain about the extend of the fine and the senseless inclusion of the overall GC situation. Yes, I comment on people from the spectator chat that try to picture the situation as if I won 46 seconds by this attack. It is simply a completely false statement and you should know that if you just spent about 10 seconds with this case.Concerning the "intentional" or not, there is no difference. While Bahrain-Merida has admitted to having done something wrong, you still don't show that you did. And you still act like you are the victim in this case. People watched the race in the spectator chat, and the way you comment on what they say tells a lot. About the impact on the race, yeah we considered this, see below.
Thanks! I don't need more from you than this. Together with defending the completely false statement from cataracs it shows very well that you have no idea what really happened in this race. When the rest of this committee thinks the same than you in your statement then of course it leads to your completely nonsense decision.- Hincapie for Bahrain did 3-4 kms of tempo If I remember correctly - with this causing the only difference of a few seconds in GC but surely not the 10 seconds that were missing for Toto at the end.
Additionally, it lead to a different situation for the most important final stage.
This part is the biggest joke. Did you even try to understand for 1 minute what happened? The other is that Tellez got bonus seconds on the stage. What would the result have been if the other group members had not faced 3 competitors each from Los Galacticos AND Bahrain-Merida? Probably Tellez doesn't get the Bonusseconds after all.
Honestly this statement makes me even more upset. It shows the complete ignorance of the case.
Thanks for showing it to me. You have just confirmed my case.

Re: Teamattacke Gala
Yes, I comment on people from the spectator chat that try to picture the situation as if I won 46 seconds by this attack. It is simply a completely false statement and you should know that if you just spent about 10 seconds with this case.
Of course you won this time with Arteaga and Bahrain-Merida with Hincapie, thats why we corrected their GC position (that was the easy part because it was pretty clear). The situation about Tellez was more complicated and I tried to explain what was the thinking behind the solution.Together with defending the completely false statement from cataracs it shows very well that you have no idea what really happened in this race
We considered the race logs, the situation as you mentioned it, Bahrain-Merida didn't say anything until he received the fine, and the situation as others mentioned it.
You are free to disagree.
But one question still stays unanswered: Why didn't you just check the fair play rules when the chat already discussed if it is ok or not?

I already said it was wrong and we should have reacted better, right? But one question still stays unanswered: Why didn't you just check the fair play rules when the chat already discussed if it is ok or not?
What else is there to say?
My complaint is not about if we did something right or wrong. That is a clear case.
I complain about the decision to include the GC in itself into your fine without a proper reason - just based on your assumptions that the GC was changed significantly which is just completely wrong. With your description you have shown to me very well that you have no idea what really happened and the impact it had on the race.
Anyway I know that of course nothing will happen. My case was ignored and not taken into consideration. If there should be a next time (I hope not of course!) then I at least know that I can save my time and do not have to cooperate with you guys. It would have been the better idea to just say nothing.
Tellez won the tour and it was taken away by a stupid decision. For me he is the winner and I will not accept your stupid decision.
I just hope that from now on you also try to protect the game as hard as you did with me with guys like Team Uapparill who can still roam free and destroy every race he is in or of course Toto when he will eventually be back again to insult people again.

Re: Teamattacke Gala
Team Uapparill was fined twice for team attacks and Team Toto was fined multiple times in the past, adding up to being banned at the moment. If you disagree with any of those cases, you can now appeal in the respective threads.el Galactico wrote: ↑Sun Jan 29, 2023 10:41 amI just hope that from now on you also try to protect the game as hard as you did with me with guys like Team Uapparill who can still roam free and destroy every race he is in or of course Toto when he will eventually be back again to insult people again.
Otherwise, it is no serious argument to call fpc decisions "bullshit", "nonsense" or "stupid" as you have done now multiple times. The whole decision, including why Tellez gained an advantage in GC through the team attack, has been explained to you in the in-game hearing chat and here in the forum in detail. Time to move on and focus on the next races.

Re: Teamattacke Gala
I can't call it anything else if I am convinced that this is exactly what your decision is, right?
I have given you my arguments but they were not considered...
You prefered to punish according to your poor assumptions without any proof and people that have shown here in this thread that they have absolutely no idea about what happened.
So yeah let's just move on. It won't change the real result.

The defence
As for the GC etc I have no clue of course.
But, I have a clue about mandates. Has anybody noticed that this FPC actually doesn't have a mandate yet? By opening a post, to be followed by a poll, to give the FPC legitimacy, you've made it very clear that until you get that, you don't have a mandate.
This judgement (and any other done before you get that mandate) should be annulled immediately. Stop trying to have it both ways, in some cases you hide behind a lack of mandate, here after making it clear that you have none, you then do what you want anyway.
is weak, so you shouldn't wonder about being called out about it. All you had to do was check. Inscription. Yes, now you say you were wrong, the question is why nobody seems to have bothered to check and make it clear. In the end that's your and Bahrain's job, your job to make sure you have it right. Now answering the question: Why didn't you check" like this...el Galactico wrote: ↑Fri Jan 27, 2023 4:55 pm- Nobody was sure there was even a team attack happening at first
