Gaurain wanted to design the first stages.
And I thought I had to do the rest, as usual ... Tell me !
Why a fantasy tour de France ? We probably will never ride it !

Plus why is this in "important races"???? This part should only be for the Giro and the monuments, the important races...

Well, gaurain was actually hot to design to first 3 stages
But ok, criticism so ^^
1. Prologue is good, 6 km, as I wanted to do... Anyway, we have cobbles on "Place St Lambert (really light cobbles anyway during 300m!!! + Liège is in Belgium (please please please) and is written Liège and not Liége.
2. Stage 1 : Actually disagree about the final km... You will never find near Seraing a climb of 4km, so, this is for sure not good!
I think the climb is 1,5-2km or so!

I think it's Liége and not Liège because the profile does not accept the "è" sign
Better to put "Liege" without a é or è ?

How much people would have remarked it if you have halted your fingers

?
I thought ´ better than nothing.
to the Tour Design:
My design is a first step of the profil with geocoords.
In a second step, we can adapt it the way we want.

Is it purpose, that the intermediate sprints are not included at the moment?

Now the first work is OK and I have made a copy of all profils.
Gaurain, OL and other will soon get the possibility to ameliorate the profils.

Where are the intermediates and point of interests in the stages?

Stage 12 was not good :
So I did it again :
The official profile :
I tried to do it with the geog things, if this is not good, please PM me leso.
For stage 3, you have to change the % of Mont violette to : 1km at 9%
For stage 4, last km must be a 1% and not a -1%

For stage 5, the real begging of the race of AFTER the uphill in Rouen, there is no such a hill during the first 2kms of race ! Last km is a 3%, not a 2%

For stage 6, there is obviously something wrong in the design of the last 50kms but this does not change many things : it's flat. Last km must be a 0% and not a -1%, the km before the last one must be a -2%.

For stage 7, you should check the % before Plancher des Mines, seems more Uphill in reality. My design for the last climb : 9/7/9/10/8/8

For Stage 8, % of the hills could be better, especially the last hill which is much steeper (my idea : 10/9/8/10), but the others are more or less ok if you don't change it. Also, ou could had a last 0% at the end to reach the 157kms

For stage 9, not much to say, % seem to be ok
For stage 10, you have to re-draw it from the bottom of the Grand Colombier ! Probably not the good road because there is not this flat part in the road they'll take in the TDF (
http://www.letour.fr/PHOTOS/TDF/2012/1000/PROFIL.jpg). Also, you can use the % I did on the Dauphiné Stage for the Richemond Climb and mayber Gd Colombier if it's the same road !). Last kms are uphill, not downhill, something like this would be great : 1/3/5 to finish.
For stage 11, Good one ! You used the official profiles (
http://www.letour.fr/2012/TDF/COURSE/fr ... etape.html) ? Anyway, some % could be discussed, but it's a good one !
For stage 12, I've done it again, see above
I'll check other stages later

An organisational question: There are three ITTs during the Tour, one of them quite in the middle of the it. Am I right to assume that offliners will be counted as online during the ITTs? Am I therefore right to assume too that offliners won't be kicked out during the Tour even if not one second online? I am assuming that because this was the case when riding le Dauphiné.

IMO you are wrong.
60% of the stages offline.
Offline means 60% of the stage offline in one.... in one.. .bah, don't know in english... nonstop. 60% offline nonstop.
But that nonstop counts only during a stage, it's not 60% of the stages offline in a row, it's just 60% of stages offline.
As far as I know.
21 stages: 60% is 12,6 stages. So the thirteenth offline stage they will be kicked.
They will be on on stage 1 and the second ITT which is...9? So complete offliner will be kicked at stage 15 normally.

Are you sure about that? Then of course I praise your knowledge and do a happy dance for let's say.. hmm... 10 secs in front of my PC. Well, maybe I could combine it at home with your tip to threaten the family to dance naked...

Reading class:
1. Abbreviations have a meaning. For example LOL means Laughing Out Loud. IMO means I My Opinion. IMHO would mean In My Humble Opinion. But since I have a high opinion of my opinion I see no reason to write the H for humble.
So, here at the top of my enlightened post, we see IMO. Which makes clear it's my opinion. Not a fact. Well, it's a fact that it's my opinion, but here I don't claim that my opinion is correct. I'm convinced it is, otherwise I would be really dumb to have that as my opinion, but I'm aware of the fact that my opinion in this special case could be wrong
2. As far as I know has a meaning. It basically means "I don't guarantee that the things stated above are correct"
So, with the second disclaimer I make it fairly clear that I don't know for sure. I'm convinced what I wrote is correct, yes, but I can't guarantee that it is. That's all I can give you, sorry. But to be honest IMO that's the best you will get here, because if your anything-but-humble-servant-Robyklebt doesn't know for sure, who will? Right, nobody, for sure not Buhmann.
Do your dances, naked, fully clothed, who cares, but don't ask moronic questions. It's like if I were to ask you after your post "are you team fl". It's written there, team fl, right on top, like the information that I'm not sure is written in my post. Got it?
Answer without reading class:
No, not 100% sure, but think it is like that...

IMO it must be 60% offline in a row (FYI Roby!).
But even then, I'm not sure. Maybe it's 90% of the stages, or 60% of the stages where you are a 100% offline (and setting help counts as online 1km!), since I barely ever see anyone getting kicked out of a serious stagerace.

As this naked dancing thing sounds interesting, I will do it anyway, even if nobody cares. And BTW, "Are you sure?" can be seen as rhetorical question, or not. Thus it is, or not, an allowed rhetorical mean of writing, even if you don't understand the deeper meaning, IMO.
Anyway, my knowledge is more familiar with NoPikouze's statement. LOL.

About the naked dancing, TMI, sorry.
As for the rest, don't provoke the ape. If you do, he'll prove you wrong.
Ok, ape off in the forum, on ingame for deep research.

TdS 9 stages, you need to be offline 5,4 stages.
stage 1 TT, you are online automatically
stage 2-6 you can be counted as offline if you stay off for 60% nonstop
stage 7 TT, you are online automatically, resp. it doesn't count
stage 8-9 you can be counted as offline if you stay off for 60% nonstop
The question remains, (in some peoples minds..) is it stages in a row, or just stages?
If it's stages in a row, you can't be kicked out of the TdS due to being offline.
If it's just stages, you can be kicked out of the TdS due to being offline.
Now let's see:
TdS 15h
stage 9:
Km: 130, Steigung: 3
Steve Missilier (Bayern Radsport) gibt auf
Philipp Schörgghofer (Bayern Radsport) gibt auf
Andrej Jerman (Bayern Radsport) gibt auf
Didier Cuche (Bayern Radsport) gibt auf
Didier Defago (Bayern Radsport) gibt auf
Klaus Kröll (Bayern Radsport) gibt auf
Andreas Sander (Bayern Radsport) gibt auf
Hans Olsson (Bayern Radsport) gibt auf
Go check yourself.
Q.E.D.
Yes, yes, the ape falled into your clever trap, he showed you the proof that his opinion was indeed right. But then he never claimed not to be vain, just not to be humble. And the drug of being always right is just too powerful. Sometimes I wish you guys could experience that too, but well... sorry, you're no apes. Bipedals, yep, but no apes.

But since when can you not be offline in a TT ? You can be shown offline for sure... Actually counted as, I wouldn't know.
And even if it was true once, I still don't believe it's always working! Bugs, etc, you know
Anyway, tell me why vagaderi was never kicked out off the giro 22h, if you want to be that smart.

Because he wasn't offline for 60% of the stages.
Btw, the problem is not that I want to be that smart, the problem is that I
am that smart.
ps the ape fell, not falled, apologies.
