Still think about the pavé stage I've designed!! Hope the 70 hill 80 TT are ready for the Tour :) Don't know how many climbers will ride it!

i have a special question and i hope someone knows this.

The tour have 21 stages and 2 rest days.

Give it on these 2 restdays money and points for trikots?
If not, will this tour have 21 or 23 races.

The repos/Ruhetage (rest days) are on the wrong day ...

They have to be one day later ... the mistake is because of the numbers 1-21!!!
Have a look plz to the tourdates.

You should take another look at the stage to Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne, there is a big bump in the last 5 kilometers.

In Mende the top of the last climb is two Kms from the finish, not one.

For Mende, I asked myself a lot. There is only one road to go on the airport of Mende, and after the hill, this road is flat during 1000m only (a bit less maybe).
So, two possibilies, there is a problem with the official draw, or the finish is on the Airport road (what is the name of the ground for the planes ?).
If you find more informations, I will change it.

And for the Maurienne, where's this big jump, take a look :

Image

This is the Arc's Valley. There are some roads, but all in the flat (1-2% of the classic alpine valley). I tried all the roads i the vallet (if there is a mistake in the roadbook with the N° of the roads), but i've not found big bump (juste maybe a km with 3% (500m at 4-5% ?)).
So, I don't know :)

Ok, the finish in Mende is on the airport runway I think. In 2005 it was the same. Small races like P-N can probably finish closer to the climb, the TdF entourage needs the wide space at the airport to accommodate all the people. And I seriously doubt that they are too dumb to measure distances, but who knows...

St-Jean, looking at their stuff everything seemed clear, looking at the maps I`m baffled. They turned a railway crossing into a 70m high climb? Passage sur voie ferree? Itineraire horaire says they never leave the D-1006 until short before St-Jean. D-1006 looks flat all the way in streetview, I don't see a 5% climb in there. ASO-Idiots.

I can put one other km of flat at Mende but I'm not conviced :?

Le Tour:

Is there any restriction for participation? (Except having a licence of course). I'm fairly sure no, otherwise it would be written, but just to know for sure (for Liquigas Domo and others who keep asking): Can D6 ride the Tour?

Other proposal:

Lots of work for OL, good thing:

Tour, Giro, Vuelta, maybe Andes, maybe december tour, the important Tours, would be nice to have better interviews.
Instead of the usual interviews, some good, some horrible, it would be nice to have special TdF Interviews. All done by OL of course, he's the designer after all :D

Even better: Every group gets its own interviews. Ok, then maybe not all done by OL, Leso just give the "TdF interview rights" to 1 or 2 participants in each group and they make the interviews for all the stages... can be done during the race too, so interview for stage 15 after stage 14 etc. For example in the afternoon we probably will have 3 very good sprinters, terranova, Caethoeven and Iatniku, instead of the usual: "sprint stage, isn't that boring" "who will win" "will I see you after the race" Something more "personal" or more connected to that group would be nice.

Get to work leso!

I'll have time tomorrow and after. Give me the link (I lose it) and I'll do that.
I let leso do the programm for that ;)

I have closed the Tour for Div6 .
If some div6 want to ride, they must ask me direct and I´ll decide.

23 days are often a too long time for the beginners ... and partically for the others who want to ride a nice tour.

For the interviews, I´ll look what I can do.

I read that the time bonis for all the line stages are 20, 12 and 8 sec.
For the intermediate sprints 6, 4 and 2 sec.

The sprint points are special too and adapted to the different stages, flat, middle, mountain, TT.

I´ll adapt the time and point bonis for the Tour .

But I could let the mountain points like they are now.

Is it what you are looking for ?

I adapted it a little bit for the Tour (Tour and stage can be noticed) but I cannot make it dependant from the riding group, maybe later during the Tour.
