Great work so far guys!! I am hyped

Re: Giro d'Italia 2026
Are these linked to the categories we use, or is there anything else we have to go to match the in game design with the real life points?Gipfelstuermer wrote: ↑Thu Apr 23, 2026 1:48 pmFor your design and everyone:
Cima Coppi: 50 - 30 - 20 - 14 - 10 - 6 - 4 - 2 - 1 (in-game HC)
1st category: 40 - 18 - 12 - 9 - 6 - 4 - 2 - 1 (in-game 1)
2nd category: 18 - 8 - 6 - 4 - 2 - 1 (in-game 2)
3rd category: 9 - 4 - 2 - 1 (in-game 3)
4th category: 3 - 2 - 1 (in-game 4)
+ 1st category summit finish: 50 – 24 – 16 – 10 – 6 – 4 – 2 – 1 (in-game HCC)
Maximum amounts of points at the finish: 50 – 35 – 25 – 18 – 14 – 12 – 10 – 8 – 7 – 6 – 5 – 4 – 3 – 2 – 1
Medium amount of points at the finish: 25 – 18 – 12 – 8 – 6 – 5 – 4 – 3 – 2 – 1
Least amount of points at the finish: 15 – 12 – 9 – 7 – 6 – 5 – 4 – 3 – 2 – 1
The amount of points at the intermediate sprints for the maglia ciclamino is always the same: 12 – 8 – 5 – 3 – 1
(all same as last year if I see it correctly)

Stage 10 ITT done, very flat, Rinchiostra is 0 - 2 - (-1) - (-1).

Stage 11 +12 also done, feel free to review the climbs, gpx was kinda wrong on the climbs there but climbfinder + official infos + La Flamme Rogue had good information

last climb Cogorno 9 - 5 - 7 - 6 -1

Capriata Dorba 4 - 4
Bric Berton 2 - 1 - 6 - 6 - 5 - 8 - 5 - 2

Capriata Dorba 4 - 4
finish 1 - 0 -2

Stages 5,6,7:

Not much to add, last 6km looked very weird from the gpx, other designers and myself unanimously decided to change it to how it is now (6/3/-5/-2/0/2).

First 141km not much there to discuss, but for the final km we would like your feedback. Looks like this:
So 300m regular flat, last 700m is on pavé (*). Around 500m long 4% ramp (all on pavé), but last 200m are flat again, still on pavé. Dilemma now is between 1* and 2*. 17m height difference over the whole km, but those mostly come from the uphill part in the middle. We are leaning 2* now, but would like others' feedback too.

Again not much here, mostly Blockhaus climb important. Not climbed all the way to the top, gpx file pretty much matched the climbfinder profile, so generally didn't have to change much this stage.
Let me know if I missed anything!

Hm,
Roccarosos GPM is too early also, 1245 altitude. Also cat 2, not 1
You have 2x 13 in there. Check "climb details" on the Giro site, no 13%. Cyclingcols very similar to the Giro details, both good sites (and both annoying at times with all the mental calculations you sometimes have to do)

Kraftsystemrevision! Include the distance!
Basics reform: Give blue a chance!
Don't punish bugusers. We all have to use bugs, since most of them are declared as "features"!
Got a carrot from FL. But they threaten to take it away now.

Re: Giro d'Italia 2026
Huh, was struggling to find the right percentages for Blockhaus, based myself on gpx+climbfinder (per 2km). Used the giro site climb profiles in all stages but didn't think about using it here for some reason. Weird... Good catch!Robyklebt wrote: ↑Fri Apr 24, 2026 4:13 pmHm,You have 2x 13 in there. Same for Roccarosos, not sure what went wrong there. KOM now 1km later, in reality even a few 100m further, but whole km would only be a 1%, so prefer to have it 300m earlier instead.

Stage 19:

Stage 18:

Climb is a little over 1km and since it is a little bit over 12% on average too decided on 13%. Final km at 0, even with -0.6% over the km. But the final about 150m are uphill again so I feel like the sprint itself is matched better with a 0

Re: Giro d'Italia 2026
Stage 13, 2 climbs at the end

Bieno 2,5km climb 4-7-3 (the first km reflects the 0,5km flatter start (5,3% Giro & 6% La Flamme Rogue to 4%))

Ungiasca 3.5km climb from Unchio (RB Sprint) 3 - 7 - 9 - 10 (the first km reflects the 0,5km flatter start (4,8% to 3%))

Stage 14

a bit tricky with the climb up to Verrogne as the first part up to Lin Noir is 7.4 kms and the 2nd uphill part is 5.6 with 4.1 kms slight donwhill in the middle. i decided to underdesign the first part of the climb by 400ms and 37 HM and overdesigned the 2nd part by 400ms and 33 HM. other interpretations are pretty much possible but that was the one i decided for, but that can be discussed.

Stage 15 pretty flat, some laps in the end with 16.3 kms 4 times thats why we lose 1 kms there i just added a 0 at the end to make up for that.

Stage 8:

Stage 9:

Both climbs quite different from the gpx, based on the Giro site profiles.
Last stages from me. Any feedback for stages 1-9 is free to be sent in my direction. Once Tuk finishes stage 17 we should be done with Giro.
One more thing: Maybe better to wait with publishing until at least 30/4, to avoid new teams signing up already and going out inactive.

Re: Giro d'Italia 2026

Stage 17 also done now
Re: Giro d'Italia 2026
I just do nasty spot checks
Generally very happy with this crew, using the Giro resources fully it seems. Ultimi chilometri, dettaglio salite etc.
Next spot check (not the only one I did)
Corno alle Scale, not too happy with that?
We end up too high, 1471 reality, 1519 for us (GPX lower, but that's the full km etc problem) the final climb doesn't really fit the dettaglio salite completely either, I just mention the last 3 km now, but the stuff before too. Last km according to ultimi km 7.3%, second last 11.3%, third last 9.8, with the last 700 meters of that km at 13.5%. It's the km before that is flatter, or has a flatter part, comes out at 4.. .before that 9 4 -1 ok ok, now did 6. Anyway, last part recheck would be good.
Stage 8 btw I would go for 7 in the last km. It's 65 meters, so 6.5, can go both ways, but according to Info techniche the finish is on a ramp at around 10%, so over the km 6.5%, finish at 10, then rounding up to 7% seems more logic than rounding down to 6. Also we finish at 318 in reality, c4f now 300, 310 would be better.
