what is 1B? Bonus for Kat.1 KOM?
They have some KOM & IS with bonus seconds (marked by B), and some KOM & IS without bonus seconds (no B).

Re: LA VUELTA 2024
At the risk of being annoying, AAD, why don't you put the profiles vertically at 1000 or 2000 or 3000 so that everyone can see the difference? Nobody sees the difference in steepness at 1400 or 1500? Only when you read the side bars.flockmastoR wrote: ↑Tue Jul 30, 2024 5:55 pmOkay will also post my stages here with some important notes (mainly for my future me)
Stage 10
Used the GPX file from LFR. Compared the km values of special points (KOM, city passes) between the roadbook and the LFR profile, which looked quite accurate. Adopted the climb percentage.
Stage 11
GPX file from LFR far off. Had to redo it based on the roadbook and endet up very accurate (36,7 lap is hard to finish exactly). Adopted climb percentage (needed to be done before adding the lap). Please check round course.
Stage 12
Complete redesign, last climb checked!
Stage 13

Don't know if I get it right. You mean the y-axis limit? Have set it to 1800 for all currently.Schartner Bombe wrote: ↑Tue Jul 30, 2024 9:04 pmAt the risk of being annoying, AAD, why don't you put the profiles vertically at 1000 or 2000 or 3000 so that everyone can see the difference? Yes, that's what I meant. That we should all have the same "scale" - so that the stage overview is roughly comparable. So either I adapt it to yours or you adapt it to me and Tuk. If not, it doesn't matter.

Re: LA VUELTA 2024
Awesome teamwork Schartner, Tukh & AAD!
One thing you couldnt know unless you designed Vuelta in previous years, they have a special KOM system, where their 5 categories are called
Esp. (Cima Alberto Fernandez) --> HC in RSF
Esp. --> 1 in RSF
1 --> 2 in RSF
2 --> 3 in RSF
3 --> 4 in RSF
I made the change in the database for all 21 stages, so you dont have to worry about it.
Categories to be double-checked once the reglamanto tecnico is published. Until then, I will also leave the whole race in 'Calendar Preview' so that we can still make changes.

Re: LA VUELTA 2024
I did review the first stages and found some issues. I think it is mostly related to LFR GPX files used for the creation of it (I assume you did). Here some ideas for improvement:
Stage 4
The height looks weird at the start. For me looks like copying the first km in order to fix the lenght of the stage (okay the LFM profile is shorter as expected). Puerto de Cabezabellosa is ending at HM 925 (should be 938). Alto de Piornal is also ending at HM 1175 (should be 1195), I would make use of the per km slope that is given on the Vuelta website (there are steeper parts not present in your climb). Mountain finish is also ending at HM 1,565 (should be 1550, the gpx file ends at 1,535). Due to the shift, the slope of the kms are not accurate compared to the per km slopes given on the website.
To give an example, your last 10km are like: 4, 5, 3, 4, 3, 11, 14, 14, 6, 7
The values given by the website are: 4.1, 3.3, 2.9, 3.6, 11.0, 13.6, 14.1, 16.4, 7.7, 5.5
Additionally your flat part before the last climb is already 20 m above the GPX file HM.
Stage 6
Second KOM3 is shifted by 1km
Last climb also lookes shifted caused by wrong GPX file ending (too early)
Last 9km: 6.4, 4.6, 5.5, -3.6, 8.0, 1.1, 4.7, 5.5, 5.2
Yours: 5, 6, 5, 5, -1, 4, 2, 5, 5
Stage 7
For my taste, the KOM is one km too late. Altitude is not fitting exactly to what is given by the Vuelta. https://climbfinder.com/de/anstiege/alt ... e-calasanz looks like a detailed profile for the direction of the climb and corresponds to the altitude given from Vuelte. 1.3km flat on top (the +1 is just 300m long). Not ultra important but the KOM km might be just shifted by the inaccurate LFM GPX
Stage 8
Final climb has detailed slope per km information at the Vuelta site (17.3, 3,4, 10.2, 5.6, 13.5 last 800m) but they don't average on the given 4.8km 7.1% also given there. Tricky would redesign it from the roadbook to check altitude/slope
Will try to check other stages in the coming days too

Re: LA VUELTA 2024
Finally published here:
https://www.lavuelta.es/es/la-carrera/c ... deportivas
IS and Sprint points as assumed.
But they have Cima Alberto Fernández AND Cat.4.... so they have 6 different KOM categories... Not sure now if I should
1) add another category just for Vuelta (called HCC or HCA or HCX or whatever)...
2) let all HC mountains have same number of points (and if this solution, let them have 20 or 15 points)
3) let all Cat. 4 have the Cat. 3 points (as they have basically just added Cat.4 climbs and never had them in the past)

I plan to make the adjustments this evening and then it can be published from my point of view. Or are any profile discussions still ongoing ?flockmastoR wrote: ↑Tue Aug 13, 2024 2:43 pm
