Hello, here's my idea for a five stage tour in Greece.
Hello ECS. Nice to have new active managers and also new active designers. Just a few hints:

You can link the profil directly using the "Bild einfügen" button ""

see:

To get the links you can right click on the profil that is shown in the editor and then "copy image adress"

You additionally have to create a Stage Race in the "Race Editor" tab for your tour. You can link the profiles for each stage within the "Stages" section and give names, stage types and other info.

PS: You also need to create a race in the "Race Editor" for one day races and link the profil. Otherwise, the calendar planers will not consider them. If you have further questions you can use this thread: http://www.radsportfreaks.de/RSFForum/v ... 68#p121868

PPS: Usually stage races offer intermediate sprints and KOM (mountain points). You can insert them in manually in the editor as well

A few tours

Tour of British Columbia
This race takes place in the southern part of British Columbia, the western province of Canada.

Image
St 1: Hilly route around Canada. The cat 2 has one 11% km and the stage could be decided on the final cat 4.

Image
St 2: Pretty flat until the final cat 1, 7 of the last 10 kms are 10% or greater.

Image
St 3: Up and down, two early climbs but a flat 50km to the finish could let the pure sprinters come back.

Image
St 4: Short ITT with a summit finish, race could be decided here. Whistler is also home to a ski resort, in the summer it's turned into a mountain bike park.

Balkan Tour
A 6 day tour around the balkans.

Image
St 1: Early climbs, should come together for a flat finish.

Image
St 2: shorter race, goes up to the finish, chance for classics or hillsprinters.

Image
St 3: Summit finish in Bulgaria, nothing greater than 10%.

Image
St 4: Cat 1 for the finale, flat for a few kms to the finish. Climb isn't that difficult, just long.

Image
St 5: Flat race, for the sprinters.

Image
St 6a: Final day is two half stages, first is in Zagrab, the capital of Croatia. Starts with a big cat 2, but plenty of time for the group to get back together for a likely sprint finish.

Image
St 6b: Slightly hilly final ITT in Split, on the coast of Croatia.

The Tour of California
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tour_of_California
The tour of california was once a UCI stage race from 2006 to 2019, and as there are no plans to bring it back, I propose we ride it, as a fantasy race.

Image
The first stage in San Diego is a hilly race with a punchy climb at the end.

Image
The first half stage is a flat race by the bay.

Image
The second half stage is a hilly circuit in the north section of LA.

Image
The third stage is a hilly race from San Fransisco to San Jose, taking some dirt roads along the way.

Image
Flat stage in Sacramento, the capital of california.

Image
Mountain Stage with several large climbs.

Image
Small hills, should be a sprint finish.

Image
High mountain stage, should decide GC.

Jamaica Tour: A three day, four stage, race in Jamaica

Image
Hills in the beginning, sprint likely

Image
Hilly 20km ITT, goes up to 9%

Image
Hilly race, MS not likely but possible, should be for hillsprinters or classics.

Image
A very tough finale in the mountains around Kingston. 2nd to last climb includes 1km at 24%

Series of the Ancient World
I will be creating a race series that takes important events, mainly battles, in ancient history, and making races from them

Image
A race between Assyria's old capital and its "new" capital(which fell in 700 BC, so it's not really new).
Image
A race around Troy, slightly hilly.
Image
From Marathon to Athens, representing Pheidippides' run from Marathon to Athens to tell the greeks they had won. Includes a cobbled climb up to the acropolis.
Image
Thermopylae was an ancient battle in a mountain pass, defending Athens from the Persians.

Image
A hilly race with the final climb finishing 20km from the end.
Image
A hilly race with the final climb just 6km from the end, with an uphill finish on a 2%

Montpellier spelled wrong ;)

You could add the names of some towns/climbs on the way, always looks better imo ;) Also what looks better imo is the give space before and after the "-" between the start and end cities in the title of the race ;)
