The plan is to ride this, my favourite time would be 14h (also 15h is okay, but then I sometimes have to leave earlier).

90% chance that I start in the afternoon, preferably 14h.

Unfortunately no time for a detailed review of the design (you all prefer if I work on the code) but many thanks, Hansa and lenny, for the design. I know it's a lot of work. I really like the start in Cusco with pavé, the gravel sections (lots of them, but with * they aren't too extreme) and surprisingly I also like the Camino de la Muerte stage this year because you found a new route for the stage. Perhaps you noticed, I didn't include it every year despite its status as a legend and if I did, it was usually not a mountain top finish, so it's an interesting choice and I am excited to see the race up there. On the other hand, there might be too many mountain top finishes this year. I count 9 out of 13 stages. That's a lot of mountain top finishes, even for the Campeonato. The risk is that it's a bit boring if there is one strong climber team with high reg, but let's be optimistic. Some stages look nice for escapes. In fact, lenny should ride Andes as well, even if it's just for escapes. You rarely have the chance to ride your own 16-day tour! Just sign up and enjoy!

50/50 for me. 21 or 22 the only times which could be possible.

Good , good many answers.

More better!

14h seems sure. No Andes in the afternoon last time, so with 3 that want to should be enough to qualify.

I'll count the rest better when I'm not on the mobile...

Very little participation here by the evening....

Time proposal sent, 9-14-19-22... not sure at all if 4 editions are good. If one cut right now would be 22 (and then maybe 19 to 20), not because it will be the worst visited, it won't, but because the evening people were the least active here!

One thing, do you all realize how much time some of the stages need?

Et.1: Pave 199km-108min-mintact km184
Et.2: TTT 43km-43min
Et.3: Mountain Stage 263km-175min mintact km176
Et.4: Hilly 164km-107min-mintact km114
Et.5: Mountain 229km-145min-mintact km168
Et.6: Hilly 202km-111min-mintact km182
Et.7: Mountain 223km-150min-mintact km146
Et.8: Hilly 183km-136min-mintact km94
Et.9: ITT 41km-41min
Et.10: Mountain 215km-124min-mintact km182
Et.11: Mountain 195km-107min-mintact km176
Et.12: Flat 224km-122min-mintact km204
Et.13: Hilly 205km-115min-mintact km180
Et.14: Mountain 164km-129min-mintact km70
Et.15: Flat 199km-112min-mintact km176

175-150-145-136-129-124-122, 7 stages at over 2 hours and I suppose that's without the 9' sprint. I would have expected 18-21 to be more popular because of that, but seems I was wrong (first time, somebody open a thread!!!) Just pointing it out in case some people would prefer earlier sleep...

Anyway, keep writing your favorite times, nothing is final until the 25th!

Yes times are without the 9 minute Sprint and yes some days are pretty long. Maybe could have pointed that out more in the presentation.

No no, pointed out, that's ok, if I saw it, others hopefully saw it too. Just to be sure because I'm a bit surprised at 19-22 being more popular than 18-21 so far, maybe some didn't see it?

18 is awkward time for me and even the 3 hour stage finishes at about 22 when started at 19, all totally fine for me

If I ride in the evening (but only 10% chance), I'd prefer 21 over 22 because of the long stages. I heard that same comment in the 22h or 23h races quite often, even in normal, not extreme long races. Managers fighting hard to stay awake! ^^

To lenny/Hansa: Maybe you can double-check some of the min-tacts? Some of them seem really really long indeed...

Thanks for the hint.

I wasn't aware of long min tacts. 21h seems to be better in this case but for me personally more unlikely to start then to be honest.

In my opinion only Stage 8 mintact could be discussed all other mintacts on long stages cant really be set later.

let's check stage by stage:
stage 1: Roby would complain about late mintact
stage 2: TTT duh
stage 3: mintact right at big final climb
stage 4: right before the mountains start, pretty short stage anyway
stage 5: right at big final climb
stage 6: right at big final climb
stage 7: right at the decisive climb
stage 8: open for discussion, could move mintact to final climb
stage 9: ITT duh
stage 10: already pretty late in the stage, anything later and Roby would complain about late mintact
stage 11: Roby would complain about late mintact
stage 12: Roby would complain about late mintact
stage 13: Roby would complain about late mintact
stage 14: either current mintact or right before final climb, but since last mountain stage i would expect early action
stage 15: Roby would complain about late mintact
