Some tours done by the SM Team :
Tour of South Poland (3 days)
Stage 1 : for a classic sprinter probably (6%) km 130, or a strong sprinter ^^
Image

Stage 2 : same as stage 1 6% km 141 and 4/5/4 from 161 to 163, for a strong sprinter surely
Image

Stage 3 : for a strong classic rider 5/9% km 156/157
Image

3 stages are middle mountain

A good little middle mountain tour which sprinters could have chances too

Romania Tour : (7 days tour)

Stage 1 : for classic riders (6% 3 km to the finish)
Image

Stage 2 : for classic sprinters or strong classic riders (4% finish)
Image

Stage 3 : same as stage 2, for a strong classic with good flat value (4% finish also but 4% also 3 km from the finish)
Image

Stage 4 : big hill in the middle of the race, for classic sprinters or strong sprinters
Image

Stage 5 : little mountain finish (6/5/6% for the last 3 kms)
Image

Stage 6 : flat stage, except the start

Bonne idée la Roumanie, c'est un pays qui a une géographie intéressante. J'aime bien ton tracé, ça doit pouvoir donner une course assez tactique et indécise.

Oui, beaucoup d'action en vue sur ce petit tour ^^

Tour of Scotland (5 days)
Stage 1 : Dundee - Peterhead : Flat stage, for sprinters
Image

Stage 2 : Elgin City - Helmsdale : Middle mountain stage, big hill near to the finish (summit km 166) max slope : 6%, for sprinter with good mountain value
Image

Stage 3 : Lairg - Grantown on Spey : Middle mountain stage, a 7% in the cat 3 and 2 4% in a row 5 kms to the finish, sprinters could do it, but they need strong team and mountain value, a strong classic can win also
Image

Stage 4 : Aviemore - Crieff : Middle mountain stage, 2 cat 2 hills, short stage, too hard for sprinters, but a hill sprinter has good chances here
Image

Stage 5 : Edinburgh - Kilsyth : Middle mountain stage, uphill finish (5/5%) for a strong classic probably

Bah, where are all the races that you design? Want to complain!

Rhodos: Very nice race, but H O R R I B L E mintact.
174 Km long, you put the mintact at 160.
At 131 there is a 6
At 140 there is a 7
Why not at 130? Yes, it's 15 min longer, nobody will die because of that, but less stress in the siebkilometers

Firenze: Like it less than Rhodos, but still like it.
140 Km long, you put the mintact at 120
Here why not 120, there is a hill with 10 and 8 between 120+140, which looks like kind of decisive to me.

So, don't put the mintact according to how much time the race then will take, but where important stuff will happen, that's mostly mountains, pavé, and cool stuff like that!

Min-Tact AFTERthe Mengler Hill at today's stage of the tour down under isn't so good too...

Kozani, Rhodos, Firenze, Talavera = same profile ?
A hill during the first kms, then few siebs possible in the middle/end of the race, and downhill/flat end part. You can make more original races I guess. Only Talavera seems to be interesting with a possible fight against sprinter teams. Rhodos and Firenze are like clones, 2 days in a row in the calendar ...

Pff, says you who designed the same race 800 times...

Rhodos and Firenze IMO interesting enough.

when you design 83921 races in 4years, seems legit to have 800similar races
Look at my recent creations ... still think races are similar ?

@ Roby : Ok for min tact, sorry but I don't like races which during more than 2 hours, I understand your arguments and I promise to be careful with it next times ;)

Actually, I have one old idea (already most of the stages in mind), 80% sure I'll do this one. And a most recent idea, no stages made, but great potential, 20% ...
You can send me a message to give me a hint about the localization of your dec tour, so I still can change from 80 to 20, or from 20 to 80 ;)

and if the best versions were selected by the people here ... some DecTour would never have been in the schedule

Agree with you last sentence, if the best had been selected it would have been

07 Ethiopia
08 Ethiopia
09 SPIH
10 LCBs tour
11 Yemen
12 By popular demand a repetition of Yemen!

Roby did draw this kind of race last year (22/12/2014) but in reverse, and I add 2 hills in Roma.

That's all ! :)
