Last winter I started to design a December Tour on the Canary Islands. The first 5 stages I liked pretty much but I was not able to make a good 12-day-tour out of this. Now I did the "Vuelta a Islas Canarias" out of the existing profiles:

Vuelta a Islas Canarias
saved as canary01 to canary05

Stage 1:

The first stage is a TTT on Lanzarote, from Arrecife to Haria. It looks pretty hilly but is not that steep, just a few 3% and three times 4%.

Stage 2:

Image

Actually this was planned as a half stage after the TTT. But I think this would be too difficult. It's a short flat stage, just 100km. After the ascent in the beginning (5/6/4/8/6) there is no more siebkm.

Stage 3:

Image

After the transfer (via ferry) the third stage is another flat stage on Fuerteventura. 195km in total and the last sieb combination at 153-155 (6/7/6). Not an easy day for the sprinters, but some strong teams can manage the mass sprint easily in my opinion.

Stage 4:

Image

Transfer to Gran Canaria via ferry... The day for the GC and a hard mountain stage. But no "real" mountain-top finish, early action is required. A climbers stage.

Alto de Cazadores: 4 6 7 6 5 2 11 14 12 11 8 6 7 11 5
Alto de la Guirra: 4 6 7 5 6 4 5 4

Stage 5:

Last stage. A semi mountain stage. Maybe a fight between the classic sprinters and the good classic riders. Or a chance to do some GC fight?

In my opinion it's a nice 5 days tour. One stage for the entire team, two stages with possible mass sprints, one HC stage and one stage for the classics. Something for everyone.

Nove Colli
saved as novecolli

The Nove Colli is an Italian Amateur classic race which is normally raced in May. Maybe this is a nice profile for a off season cat 1 race or as in reality in May.

Another Amateur race (which I want to ride myself in the future...). Don't know if it's sth for the off season or summer (were it is raced in reality).

First designed race since ages. I just play with it a little for now.

Trans Schleswig-Holstein Race
- flat race but with a cobblestone/gravel section (1****- 2*** - 1** - 1**). First part is only cobblestones with tight turns, then it's a mix of cobbles and gravel and then only bad gravel). Last part of the races mostly downhill but only a little since SH is just flat.

Start at University of Flensburg and finish at famous Holstentor at Lübeck.

Another race - this one will probably never been ridden (which would be ok) as it contains typical climbs of the Giro. But I just want share this famous challenge. I heard about it some days ago from a cyclist from Uruguay :-)

MoGaSt Challange - Mortirolo - Gavia - Stelvio. No more words needed.
