Short comment:

Not much to say actually.
Following the original calendar still, so no Paris-Roubaix.
Races in red as usual are not on the planned date, too many races on the same day so reluctantly moved. Some of them cancelled anyway, so doesn't matter much.

Saudi Tour: Here not following the rules. The rule would say original calendar, so Guangxi. With the 2019 route once again. Third time? But since Saudi Arabia was postponed from February (?) and has roughly the same dates, I decided to propose a rule-breaking expection, ride that instead of Guangxi.

If people prefer to follow the rules, and be consistent until the very end of the season, not make an exception for this one, no problem, we can kick Saudi and put in Guangxi again.

As a reminder, the rule is/was:
1)Follow the original 2021 calendar, ignore IN-SEASON cancellations and postponements unless:
2)a cancelled/postponed tour has another tour parallel (original date) that has profiles available, then use that one.

Saudi breaks that rule of course.

I regard the PDF as final now, starting to put stuff online. Now on until the 5th except Vendée and Binche, haven't found them on la flamme rouge yet, will check their own homepage etc tomorrow, otherwise the 2020 version.

Münsterland Giro: 6 at the Daruper Berg, otherwise nothing siebable
Image

Coppa Bernocchi: Morazzone now at 7 4 from 6 3 in the past years. 120 meters up in 1,6 km, 7 5 would be ok too actually.. next year then...
Image

Tre Valli: Kept the final circuit the same
Image

Remains to be designed:
-All one day races at least need to be checked, compared to the 2020 version.
-Paris Tours is the same as 2020, possibly somebody thinks the hills or dirt roads should be different, then mention it here in the next 24h or so, otherwise I'll put it online the same as 20.
-Stage races all to be designed, Sardegna and Saudi not online on la flamme rouge yet.
-Pavé tour=fantasy, so need a designer there too.

I noticed Lombardia will be a completely different course this year? Somebody already designed it?

Could be interesting for the guys that do not regularly watch profiles of original races...

Not designed yet.
If somebody wants to, just make sure to use the Lombardia-site.
https://www.ilombardia.it/en/stage/como-bergamo/

climbs and final km, good detailed information about the percentages

Min tact from 198.

Pls check and give your opinion on the last climb or any climb of this race for that matter. It says 7% for 1.3 km but the last 800 meters are steeper so could also be a 8% imo.
Pls correct me as I am not the most experienced designer for real races :)

Btw Milano-Torino also changed again the course. Looks like the 2019 version again without looking into details.
Flat start then 2x Superga climb

Milano-Torino different approach to the final.. .so will redraw that now anyway.

Lombardia: One thing I already don't like much is that we finish 20 meters too low.... and we seem to be low the whole race down 20 meters soon, then up to 60 and back... the perfectionist in me would like to see that closer to the real height....

Final: Can be done x different ways. The Lombardia site says: From 275 altitude 500 meters basically flat. Then 1,25 or 1.3 km at 7.9% average, altitude 368. Then continues up a little bit longer, probably up to 380? Although unclear, nothing written.
Different ways to do it, you went for 2 7. Since it's at least 100 meters up I'd be more for 3 7 really, but ok. I personnally would have done an 8 in there, since it's over one km at 7.9% according to the Lombardia data, but can be done at 7, really up to the designer... (although here I think the case for 8 is pretty strong)

Not sure how much you used the data of the Lombardia site really, on the first climb seems quite different, but admit I didn't check THAT closely. Ok now did...
4 6 7 8 8 8 9 4 6 6 (3) for you. 9,4km, the last of your 11 km is after the last point of the detailed climb profile on their site, it indeed continues to rise.

Here what I would have done is: first 500 meters separate 5,2, so over a km 2.6, so 3,
Then always 1 km so 2 10 9 8 8 9 8, then we're at point 858, from there 2 km, 2 5 , so 640 meters up, That's 10 too many, 298 to 924 is 626, so should be 620/630 up.... cut 1 somewhere, either the first km only a 2, or the second last a 1 instead of a 2, small calculation mistake by the Donkey when he put 2 anyway, 500 meters a -0.6 is 3 meters down, 500 meters a 3.4 is 17 meters up, so 14 meters up, so really 1...

Vendée: New start, end same place, spirit remains the same, lots of intermediates. Unless I find a GPX to download tomorrow will put on the wrong, but in spirit same edition as in 2019/20
Binche-Chimay-Binche presentation tomorrow late, if Thursday something useful to be found, ok, otherwise will put up the old version then.

Done:

Milano-Torino: Same percentages as 19 for Superga

Image

Gran Piemonte: Shortish, 3 sieb possibilities early

Image

Giro del Veneto back. 168 km, mintact at 126 for the last 3 hard hills, last one 10-5 (1.6km a 9.9, so maybe 8 8 better, but ok like this I think. GPM not in at la flamme rouge, couldn't find their homepage probably, or if then no useful info there, but on other sites there was a GPM sign there, so thought put it in. Maybe meant only climb....

Changed the following now. Last climb changed to 8% since you confirmed it has a strong case for 8 instead of 7 and I was really also thinking it looks more like a 8.
Worked on all other climbs and changed some percentages which according to climb data from flamme rouge should be more true to the real climb %'s.
Passo di Ganda is strange though. The climb looks to be steeper than what the stage editor suggests. I have it now at 7 6 6 9 7 5 9 10 7

Someone with more experience can of course also draw it so we don't have to discuss it here.

Saudi tour still showing the 2020 profile and 2020 dates. the 2020 profiles are found on la flamme rouge, if we want to use them.
their last social media post also is from february 2020!

For Giro di Sardegna i can offer you this site:

https://www.girosardegna.it/tappe/prima-tappa-grangiro/

it is possible to export gpx files from here. but i only can find it in italian, maybe it helps-

Sardegna: wrong site that's the annoying race for all...

Correct site:https://ilgirodisardegna.it/

There it says to be confirmed.

On an Italian cycling site it says cancelled. Out of the UCI calendar too, so definitive. Weird that the official site still seems to want to confirm something...

But the version from 2020 then. Which is the 2011 or 12 edition....really

Saudi: I fear that's indeed off too. Can't find it on the UCI calendar either. But they changed their site hard to find anything, but while I find Emilia etc. with search nothing for Saudi and Sardegna either, so I assume it's cancelled.

So the 2020 version. After the month change, unless somebody else designs it today or early tomorrow...

Gala... No no, double designing sounds bad. You did it. Will put on later today. Maybe change everything so Löffel can win. Ah he told me he wins anyway, so keep it

Lombardia online.

I just changed some flat parts and downhills, to be closer to the real height. +1 there, -1 here, this kind of stuff. Climbs unchanged. Mintact now at km 1 though.

Sardegna on too, 2020 (201x whenever) version, same as last year.

As usual check for mistakes...

2 ITTs put online.

New version can't play it, but Falkenbier had a brilliant idea, why not offer only 2 and another 1 day race in parallel? So that those on the old version that want can finally have a 1 day TT again. while the others can play something else. Why it took the dumbest user on the whole of c4f to come up with this idea is a mystery.... anyway, 2 ITTs with 2 times on 2 different days. November will be TTT time then.
