We can maybe drop Colombia and let a spot more for Provence? What do you think?

So why not drop Provence instead?

If it's about the number of editions, then it makes 0 sense to drop Colombia (or Provence) and not either Ruta del Sol or Algarve as well.

Colombia usually much more difficult to draw or to find informations, while Provence has already a designer on it.

In my opinion both Algarve and Ruta are much more important than Colombia and Provence and startlist usually are quite important as well. Colombia has a good presence of Colombian riders even if few teams partecipated (at least last year), same more or less for Provence.

Actually infos for Colombia are rather easy to find. Already there on "La Flamme Rouge".. .those for Provence not yet btw.
About Colombia/Sol/Algarve, as I said, IF it's about numbers, makes no sense, if it's about importance ok.
But I'm opposed to give Provence one more spot if Colombia is cancelled. If we are afraid of too many editions at the same time, let's be properly afraid, and not cut from 7 to 6! But to 5.

+1 with Donkey.
And if we are affraid by 7 editions already, what we will do when PN + Tirenno or Dauphiné + TdS ? cutting one tour too ?
Let's try to find something to attract people instead of cutting.

Looks like I am getting old with finding info just on official websites, need to check this Flamme Rouge
So it's ok for everybody? Just remember we have CN to put, but maybe there is some space around 10th of March?

We don't need CNs

NCs
If we don't have NC, we have protest from people too. Sundays seem difficult in February, during the week gets protests...
March to be honest looks worse on Sunday, KBK the third, PN on the 10th, PN and Tirreno on the 17th, 24th Denain, and it's between MSR and Catalunya too, 31st Gent Wevelgem+Catalunya. Saturdays not better either... Het Nieuwsblad, Strade Bianche, PN/TA, MSR. And the 30st Catalunya.
I think February is better. 4th/5th/11th. Monday or Tuesday. Will have protests, but where else? At times Leso in the past used to postpone a tour by a day (if I'm not mistaken, could be that I am for once), usually gets protests from the purists (like me..) but if that's an option, ride Valencia and Bessèges early then the 10th is free. If people support it..
Cut Colombia:

No... you already had one agreeing with cutting it, 2 rather disagreeing, so obviously there is nothing close to a consensus yet
The argument for cutting Colombia if it's about editions (which is what I asked about) actually are the 2 parallel one day races, not highly important stuff, but still Murcia and Laigueglia. Nothing in parallel to Ruta, Algarve, UAE... But I then would seriously propose leaving it at 2 editions for Provence. (Not with the times proposed now)
March:
Think we need to talk about that a little bit anyway, even if it's a month early. Last year we went 4+4 for PN/TA. Can we do that again? Or do we have to go down to 3-3? I don't know. Times then would be someting like 9/10-14/15-18-20-21-23 IMO. If 4-4 something like last year, but "switch" with June, Dauphine/TdS, for the the times "missing out" on an edition...But 3-3, 4-4.. don't know. Can see arguments for both.
But let's agree to leave Langkawi like stuff out this year..

start list for Columbia looks quite impressive, or am I completely wrong?

Since it doesn't seem to be in danger of being cut, Donkey will do Valencia.
Slowly.
