Pologne (29.7. - 4.8.), Burgos and Portugal all coincide. Are we going to ride all three or drop Burgos?
Then, are we going to have 1 or 2 out of the following?
07-13 Aug 17 Binck Bank Tour --- ME 2.UWT
08-12 Aug 17 Tour de l'Ain FRA ME 2.1
10-13 Aug 17 Arctic Race of Norway NOR ME 2.HC
10-13 Aug 17 Czech Cycling Tour CZE ME 2.1
10-13 Aug 17 Colorado Classic USA ME 2.HC
As soon as we have decided, I can draw one of these short tours. Also, I can offer to draw Portugal or Vuelta or parts of these.

As usual August is pretty much intense in terms of Tours.
Well... proposal uploaded, even if I understand that the Portuguese Tour is much wanted by the Portuguese community I don't know where to fit it. As usual open to every idea.

viewtopic.php?f=14&t=5092&start=25
I could help a bit. Just tell me what to do.
Started with Oetztaler Radmarathon. last climb could be discussed, I have no idea....

Is it possible to put the Vuelta online till the end of the month to set the form correctly?

Utah-Burgos-Portugal 2-2-2
Norway-Colorado-Portugal 2-2-2
Would be a possibility. For the Portuguese would be nice to have it, even if yeah, would be easiest to just drop it. But I'd like to keep it. (now Coroncina will show up and demand that in the name of reality we align everything one after another so he can ride everything, I know, so let me tell you I think it's a stupid idea right now)
Czech think IMO dropped, Ain... Add that too at 2 editions during Norway Colorado? Seems a lot. No idea.

Check the official site of the Vuelta. Seems right now they only have profiles on, not enough information to do a good design, so until they put a road book and a map up, will be difficult to design.

Quite tough because possibly everybody will be complaining about the times.
I'd personally prefer to drop either Utah or Burgos and to drop Norway or Colorado. Yes, it would be cool for the Portuguese crowd, but even more importantly, lots of people may prefer one longer tour over two short tours (and the short tour people still have two other options).

In case I am for moving one day later Portugal, and start with 3 times dropping one between Norway or Colorado. Surely I don't like to drop 2 .HC for a 2.1.
The other idea that came into my mind was postponing this Tour during the off-season, where we often lack of tours, obviously the bad thing would be play it in another date, the good thing would be, first play it, second having a Tour ready for that period and with a good partecipation number considering it will have nothing in parallel (especially for long tours, the partecipation number is a key factor to enjoy it.).

OK, fair enough with the 2.HC argument. Then I'd probably vote for postponing Portugal one day and dropping Norway or Colorado. I like the fantasy races in the winter and not sure what's the point of riding an August Tour in January or so.
People could then be riding LeTour-Poland-Portugal-Vuelta. Good program.

Or maybe postpone the dropped tours in off season / a period in August or next months where we don't have a tour during 1 week..

By the way, it would be cool to know the decision on Portugal quite soon. People might want to know whether they can ride Poland (which ends on the 4th) and Portugal (starts on 4th).

If you play Poland you can play Portugal as it will be moved a bit forward to avoid having 4 tours in //. In general considering that Portugal is ready, while Artic and Colorado and Eneco aren't, I am for Portugal in and Colorado out.

Cool. Then including Portugal starting on the 5th is probably a good idea. That way people can ride Poland, Portugal and Vuelta.

I think will be better start Portugal on 6!
5th are Burgos and Utah, 6 Only Utah... 7 start Eneco
Other theme...Burgos time..9 - 19 - 21 ??? not better 17 - 21 or 19 - 23 ? Poland is 10 - 14 - 18 - 22... then still pklace for Utah on 15 or 16 , one on 11 or 12 and one later 24?

@Tour of Utah...
Some of the profiles look much steeper on the website, or am I completely wrong? (e.g. stage 7)

Have to defend Coroncina and blame Tour of Utah designers. What is confusing about their profiles is that they use feet (on y-axis 1) and meters only on y-axis 2. Also, they seem to like extreme profiles, e.g. stage seven has a highest point of 1,475m and a lowest of 1,325m but the profile looks as if they were riding a 20% uphill/downhill course.

this i noticed, still, to me that very first km at stage 7 looks more than a 3 to me

Stage 5 they do the same mountain twice, not first one, then another one that is x meters higher. If it's a fantasy Tour of Utah we want to ride, we don't need to ride it in August. If we want the real one, which we want, then maybe an effort to get basic stuff right would be appreciated. Or is somebody trying to get an advantage for his own riders once again?
