I have the perfect solution:

In cases like this it's the designers call. Any mistakes found? Everyone else should complain. No mistakes found, but stuff like this
2km to go - 212m
1,6km to go - 220m
1km to go - 259m
600m to go - 283m
line - 284m
The designer decides. Can be done in x different ways and none is wrong and none is right.

Whatever Aux did with those 2 km, that's the way it should be. Just hope he did a good mintact

1,6 to 600m its 6%, so maybe 6% in rsf is ok. but than the last km might be 0%. Or it is 5-1. Don't know what's the best solution. I think it would be ok how Aux designed the arrival.

...
last 2 km. 212 to 284 = 7%
i can make it 6-1 or 1-6, but i prefere 6-1 while we have the last 600 mt. 0%
i cannot make 5-1 while this passage is run 2 time...

Designers decision. That's fine. Bad luck for the teams who put their form on a 5-1 finish. Anyway, I am ok with the 2010 version. Good job aux.

@Roby: btw, Matthew Lloyd will do it tomorrow. I should bet...

Yes, bad luck. But they in fact chose a different ascend for the second last km. Nobody knew it before exactly. I'm surprised, too.

That's not even designers decision. It's the race organizer's decision. They simply threw us a steeper climb in our way. We have to deal with it.

No offence against aux, not this time

i was just asking because i have to organise "my race plan" for the days...so, it's 6-1 --->Franconia will compete at the short tour...otherwise we would start at piemonte

Ah come on, make Münsterland Giro cat 2. At least it's a 1.1

Critic Critic

At Saturday every Team of Div 1-4 is forced to start at Lombardia...last week you had the opportunity to choose between beghelli und paris tours...

why? only because Lombardia is Cat 6 and Paris-Tours was "only" Cat 5?

Because in reality Beghelli and Tours were at the same day.
By Lombardia, the alternative is "the little Lombardia" :P
I think it is OK!
No change to await.

hm, "the little Lombardia" was at the 2nd of October...we rode 2 fantasy races this day...
okay, if i remember right, the race wasn't ready at 2nd of october...

the munsterland giro was at 3rd of october, we ride this race today...okay we had the WC this day...

Binche - Tournai - Binche was on the 5th of october, we rode it at 11th of october

only 3 examples for "riding the race at another day"

so the argument "the races are at the same day" isn't that good i think :)

so my question again: why leso why? 8-)

maybe one edition of the "alternative" for other div than 5-7?

Pavétour the pavé skill doesn't show, first one to be here between leso and Buh can change it! So hurry up so you can tell the other one he's a slow duck or something.

If I get the races after they are started or at a point where the official start date is no more free and a change will make it very difficult, I choose the next possible day to program it.

And for Lombardia, when I got the Little Lomdardia, I found it the perfectest alternative.

Don't cut it into pieces. Run it as a whole or leave it away completely.

Southland Cat 2, like last year.

This year not even classified by the UCI, so it's less than a 2.2 race. Even last year cat 2 probably actually too high, this year even more. Plus it's been moved a day from the real date, so even more. Make it cat 1, that's what it is.
