Will post the details in the other thread later.

ddv11a, for some reason ddv11 seems to be used.

I´ll put the 2010 version online.
If the profil changes and anybody designs it I´ll update it.

No Problem
The most important is that we have the most profils for the form setup.
The details can be adjusted time after time.

There is this Handzame Classic at March 18, 1.1
Do we ride it, too? We used to skip it in the former years. Don't know why.

Would have loved to do 3 days de DePanne, but with all the Hellingen and Kasseien, I would like to leave this for a experienced designer, as I would likely mess it up.

I will instead go for the Tour de Normandie tommorow, it has pretty detailed etapes online, not sure if it makes sense to run it on it's scheduled dates, but Catalunya and Coppi et Bartali have no profiles online, but would love to do some designing on my free day tommorow, while I have a couple of fantasy races already drawn up, which I'll likely design this afternoon.

Why not give De Panne a try?

See the Belgian classics thread for details on resources etc, for info on how the climbs were done last year, post stuff there, at least I will happily complain if I don't like something.

Leso:

Finally got around checking 2010 for PN/Tirreno

Both had 5 times, and 9 times we had ok groups, only PN 15h had a smaller group with only 9.

Details

TA 10h 17
PN 11h 15
TA 14h 17
PN 15h 9
TA 17h 15
PN 18h 20
TA 20h 28
PN 21h 25
TA 22h 22
PN 23h 13

So to me it seems that tours with longer mintact are more popular 8-)

Ok ok, more seriously. 8 of 10 editions with good participation, 1 weak, one neither good nor bad. (13 23h) Both of them PN, probably PN just wasn't as good or interesting looking as TA in 2010. This year IMO they look similar.

Cutting the 23h time IMO not a good idea though here. Weaker than 8 others, but could be because of the PN course. And stronger than 15h PN. No, don't cut afternoon PN, Zeter und Mordio Geschreie would follow. But keep the 23h slot.

Don't know if the numbers increased much since last year, but anyway, in february the 23h times for stage races had ok participation, so IMO should be ok. Not the risk of a 7-9 teams group.

Add 23h TA is my opinion. Ok, I'm late as usual, still, add it tomorrow if no time today.

Catalunya: Why always 14/15, 17/18? Why not 16+19 for once? When they get times for middle important stuff, they usually get ok groups
Edit: CI times than would need to be adapted. Don't see the point in 17-19 anyway. no the early evening gets 2? Normal evening 0, afternoon 0, late evening one? IF you want to keep 17, then 17-20-23. But get over your love for 17 anyway, it's not more popular than other times. Make Catalunya morning-16-19-21-23 and CI in the evening 22, then don't know.. being less important and Nebenprogramm 12-17-20-22 or something weird like that might be ok.

What about Settimana Lombarda and La Panne which should start at the end of March ?

Rohrheim said he wanted to do it..

I hope Leso this year will do the right thing and put it as D5-6 if Rohrheim does it.

Lombarda is moved to later in the year, will be in September this season.

I started drawing Normandie with T4B, I will do it, up to you, if you want to put it at that date, or save it for later.

I looked at the De Panne Profile, and the first Stage is really too difficult for me, with it's 18 Hellingen.

Would have liked to do Catalunya or Coppa et Bartali, but no profiles on yet.

Next point:

Sanremo, fix or not the way it is?

Still not completely happy with the version on.

And that's something that IMO needs to be discussed, what version is better? Ideally would have been decided before the season change, but kind of impossible now.

Important part 2

Capo Berta 4-4-5 or 2-5-6 or something else? After spending another hour or so looking for GPS tracks, not finding any recorded by GPS, but more others, to me it looks even more like 2-5-6 if not 1-6 6.

Possibilites I see.
4 4 5: Has to be wrong, the first or the last km has to be less
2 5 6: Probably comes close to reality. Would work
2 6 5: Probably even closer to reality. Problem that it would make it too hard for sprinters IMO, prefer 2-5-6
3-5-5: I suspect there is a 6, but would work too, at least if somebody wants to try he can drop sprinters, that aren't fighting yet, and if fighting let them fight 2 km.
2-5-5: 10 meters less, no problem, same as above
1-6-6: No, although my latest measurements actually came to something like that, but would give too big an advantage to mountain sprinters and classic sprinters

Problem is we don't really have reliable numbers, only 128 meters up in 2,5 km from RCS, tracks from mapping sites and google earth not very precise.

Poggio

5 4 2 3 or 4 4 3 3?
Or something else again?
4 4 3 3 correct if you go by the numbers from the bottom up. Problem is it simulates it rather badly since then NOTHING happens in the Poggio normally. While that's where the guys that were at the limit before are dropped in reality.
5 4 2 3: Simulates it better, although not perfectly either.. attacks best at the bottem, in reality it's near the top. Allows dropping riders, but well... it's the sprinters instead of going from 80 riders to 30 or less, it goes from 80 to 75... 5 sprinters dropped max, ok, plus their helpers that's 10 more lets sais 80-65. Not perfect either
5-4-2-4: Overdoing it, but then at least the chances of an attack at the last 4 increase. An attack that will not be succesful very likely. Then need to go one more down in the downhill.. -6 -6 instead of -6 -5.
Or try to take the numbers from the top? Hard to say, but then the last km would be a 4 if not a 5, the one before that a 2 or a 3..

Here really don't know, no real opinion, we'll never get it right here, but what's best?

Tour de Normandie March 21st - March 27th , on March 23rd both Stage 3 and Stage 4 are contested,
up to you, if you want to put it at that date, and likely depending, if Copa et Bartoli has profiles until then, as well as Catalunya.
Probably a Div 4/5-6 Tour, or putting it one week earlier or later may work.

Stage 2 and 4 I classified as Middle Mountain, others flat, not sure about 5 and 7, also have some hills.

of course not...don't offer too much nonsense, unimportant races while "the big races" been on screen
