I finish the 3rd stage tonight. ;)

The second picture is impressive. I hope for the organisators that there is no problem there.

That's only 250-300m of hard pavés (and climb) => (so *** and not more), but I think the cars can continue on a parallell asphalt road.
At the top of this little street, that's classic pavé like in the first picture.

Hello.

First pavé seems for me more * than **. Seems really like town pavé.

For the second one, *** seems Excellent. But Anyway, It's only 300 so if I understand right! So must we consider it as hill (we softened the hill when it's a little one cause we can't only draw km by km) and to soften the cobblestones too in the draw?

300m of hard pavé, so ** => *** for 1km.
And, yes, pavé in a town, but they're not all perfect like in the picture ^^
And, in reality, this pavé in the climb will sieb, with * no sieb, ** a better sieb.
If you take a loonk with a zoom, you can watch details : no really perfect, not real pavé of Paris or a big city, pavé of a small city, old pavé and new pavé ... so ** it's a good "middle" in my opinion.

The cars in this section, it's terrorism! I am not sure that they can come, but if they can it's simply stupid from the organisators.

If a car stop in this section, we have a monumental chaos for the riders...

Ok here come the 3rd stage (all in Belgium).

Just note that i must put the mountain points 1km later for the cobblestones. It's bad, but necessary.

Giro and Dunkerke are online.
California coming soon, maybe 9,14,18,21,23.

5x Giro plus 5x California might be too much. It could be another race with 4 teams at California, espacially in one of the evening editions.

good idea with 9 o´clock. perhaps one tour 8 o´clock is better. by the way, 5 times are to much. 3 or 4 are enough. also only 3-4 times for dunkerke. less times = more quality ;)

Leso, i don't get it...

"Rund um den Turm" all the last years Kat4...now suddenly Kat3? why?

same mistake like scheldeprijs in april...07/08/09 Kat4, 2010 Kat3...

Is this race really so important ?
I was not sure, I thought it was loosing some interest specially in germany.
But I can change it if necessary.

For the 6 and 7 of May.
Maybe on flat and one HC race. Because the oneday race before that, only middlemountain ... and again middlemountain the 6-7 ... :?

important...don't know...difficult question...was just wondering why the category is going down one more time...is there a reason?

It's losing something for sure. Of our cat 4, probably the most unimportant, that could be downgraded to cat 3. Unlike Schelde. The problem of course with downgrading it is that at the same time we're UPgrading other races from 1 to 2, from 2 to 3. Downgrading Frankfurt. I think something that can be done.. but if then it's the same category as some upgraded races like Tro Bonbon Leon...then no, then something is wrong. Downgrade Frankfurt to 3, leave Tro Bro at 2 where it fits perfectly, ok. Upgrade Tro Bro (although there really isn't any reason) and leave Frankfurt. ok... or leave it like it was, ok too. But now we have Frankfurt with the same "worth" as Tro Bro, and that's just not good.

But ok, too late... I'll start paying greater attention to the previews again now....

Pavé races:

Ok for the first one, we just come from 2 intensive pavé months, an easier one ok, still the second one could be a little bit harder I think. I hope we keep the good old "2 pavé races" a month rule anyway.

i dont like that the 'special' races (clm and pave) take place parallel to a tour
especially while we have a perfect gap in the calendar at the 4th

This Giro di Toscana yesterday, cat 2. I couldn't find it on the UCI calendar. What was it for a race?

Please, just do some research before posting everybody. I'm getting really tired of these questions, where you could find answers yourself in less than a minute.

http://www.cyclinglinks.nl/ was of course my first adress to search for it. Only found Circuito del Porto - Trofeo Arvedi. Even on the site of that race no hint about Toscana or the start-/finishing towns. Memoire du cyclisme, ok. Found it. But you just could have waited for someone less tired to answer. I didn't ask you to go beyond your limits.

EDIT: ah, there. even on cyclinglinks. Race cancelled. Fine. Damned. Bothered Roby for nothing. Hope he can sleep well anyway.

Just waited for you to say that. But there can be only one, saying thank you or beeing harassed for even asking.

Or to say nothing at all sometimes is an option too. You got your answer, isn't that what you wanted? Case closed. No need to start telling me that the question was to difficult for me when it obviously wasn't. But clearly for you. And that just because I told you (and the rest) that a little bit of research hasn't killed anyone yet?
