Really shit with New Zealand. Restriction must be highlighted at normal calendar, not only on registration screen or we throw away form planning and all riders have at every day in months the same form. San Luis was not at calendar as the form planning must be fixed, thats the reason, why I plan with New Zealand. I have looked yesterday until registration stop of the 10:00 o'clock race of San Luis, if there is a reaction about New Zealand, but nothing. Its really a punishment for all active players, that a tour is restricted for Noops and Non-Active players.

5 offline teams at 10:00 o'clock, 2 furthermore just makes time trial settings. This sounds like a real success story for this tour. Poor Woddletown. Invests many hours to create a tour, no one can (Div 1-5) or would (Div 6-7) ride.

It is more a general discussion, but as there are no more races to coordinate it should be okay.

New Zealand is really unimportant, so I wonder why it was included in the calendar in the first place, especially with San Luis running the same time. So it seem to make sense to limit it to div 6-7. But the side effect is that San Luis (which became a quite important race in real life) has just 1 time with a field split. This means that it becomes much harder for new teams that want to ride something important to get good results, points and money.

Why New Zealand is unimportant? Who decides this? There are less tours for time trial specialists, so for this type of riders it is important. If we players cannot decide when we ride where, this game makes no sense anymore in this kind. It is okay to make parallel races limited to divisions, but with this we can change it completely. You can not register to any race, but you got invited to some race, and if you dont have time - bad luck. This will be better then this.

Real Tours > Fantasy...
next step: look at the category of the race in RL

you could inscript to San Luis...if you got good form for New Zealand...you could have won in San Luis some stages too...3 sprints, 1 Time trial...

Leso, say it too. Monday 17:00. The only I can ride this week was 10:00. I choose New Zealand to win the tour with the time trialist, for the sprints I have no man. But it is okay. I make my decision. I ride until 28.01. I spend enough time of my life. The game goes worse month by month, so it is better to quit, as long the memories are good.

this discussion can be open your mind about the "points and money in tour" thread...
too much points and (special) money for cat. 1 tour...Change this rule at first, and you see that big team ride lovely Important tours!

Franco is right, now is San Luis time, we can/must give alternative tour or race in calender , but this "unimportant" tour must give less money, like in real!

let after all tour open for all teams(cat. 1-4, no GT), and let the teams owner decide which tour want ride, but only after a money reform

well the problem stays: HIGHLIGHT the restrictions in the PDF file or let it open to anyone, if there is a time where i could ride a tour and then its cancelled because its just for the sausage devision i would be angry too. and this doesnt depend on the importance of the race. Who says i have to ride this or that? Just because its right for you its not right for anybody

Or we make general restrictions:

All cat 1 races for Div 6-7
All cat >1 races for Div 1-5

another way:

All fantasy races for Div 6-7 (sorry Sachsen Paves, Tour de Pave, Christmas tour, December Tour ...)
All real races for Div 1-5

Both are the results of post before, not my opinion.

That is just too easy. First of all you have to distinguish between season and off-season (mid October to mid January). Off-season is the time for fantasy races, some of them became important (you mentioned them). So the date for Sachsen is no longer ideal as the quite important real races starts earlier now.

In season you have to decide between tours and one day races. For tours the ideal situation for me would be to offer all races where all the top teams are allowed to start. If we find designer for all there tours there should be not need for fantasy tours. And keep them open for all teams - weaker teams will ride more often in field 2 and get their chances there. The risk in offering too many tours is that the fields became to specialised. In sprinter tours everybody has a sprinter and rides for him while in the parallel tour sprints are difficult to achieve on flat stages and the gc favourites have to control.

For one day races we should ride as many real ones as possible (depends on designers of course). If they are not so important and collide with other real races change the date. It is still better to ride a real race half a weak later than a fantasy race.
