Yes it comes as cat2 I think.

Coppi e Bartali from 21-25.03 ?
Cat2 ?
13, 19 and 23h ?

Normandie later in the year?

Catalunya 21-27 5 times (PN+Tirreno seem to do ok with 5 each, so shouldn't be a problem (but why not make a try with the "forgotten times" for important races, 16+19 (no, for me 15+16 changes nothing at all just generally would like to see more of all 3 afternoon/early evening times used) Or if it's too late, in the PDF it says something else, do it for PV or Romandie in April at least. 16+19 deserve good races too. 11 maybe as well of course.

CI 4 times: But don't think 17-19 is good... why twice the early evening? if anything make it 17-20

Ok, for once probably a change of date for Coppi e Bartali would make sense. 21-25 instead of 22-26, otherwise the risk of having too many good races (Cat, CI, E3+GW on the 26-27) with too weak groups seems there.

Cat 2 ok, times.. see above 19 would deserve a cat 4 tour for once, if you don't change it the proposed times seem ok. 3 editions enough.

Normandie: If you change the Coppi e Bartali day, IMO leave Normandie where it is. As a Division 5+6 race, 1 or 2 times. Normandie is just unimportant, it's a race for Continental teams. It should be D5-6, then IMO it could work in the original setting. And even if you decide to schedule it later, leave it for D5-6. They deserve their own races too.

Anyway, short Robyproposal:

-Cat: 11-16-19-21-23 cat 4
-C+B: 13-18-22 cat 2 one day early
-CI: 10-17-20-22 cat 3 (but it's the weekend, actually the afternoon would deserve being included, tradionally weekends are well visited on the afternoon.
- Normandie: xx-xx D5+6

E3+Gent

Only 4! editions. Catalunya parallel, Criterium international parallel, both a certain importance, 4 is enough!

Normandie: If there's no room for it then leave it out completely. Don't put it in again in the winter period like last year.

Why not have Normandie 1 week later, there will be only De Panne from 29th to 31st, so Normandie perhaps from 28th to April 3rd with a couple editions.

De Panne is better than nothing. Why always running 2 stage races or more at the same time? Who doesn't like De Panne may well ride the one day races. Normandie is only 2.2. It's not so super important. If it were the Tour of California or something similar then okay. But such a continental race doesn't nbeed to be forced in. C'mon, I know your addicted to stage races. But keep that under control, please ;)

I'm addicted to drawing stage races, but run one day races with my team instead of T-A or P-N. :D

Not really funny, just no classic or mountain rider yet in my team, so I need 2 or 3 months until I can go to the big Stage races, atm just short stage races with TT.

I'm in the middle of Stage 2 of Vuelta Pais Vasco, awful finding the roads :-) will likely go for the next stages tommorow.

Done, idiots have 2 different roadbooks for the part with the hills. On one different road. Somehow somwhere then gained 4 km, probaby a apestake, don't care, so you'll have to ride 2 completely irrelevant minutes longer. But being nice I put the km tact at 174, so only 29 minutes mintact, not my usual minimum of 30, so you gain 30" back

No clue if there is any pavé somewhere, nothing in the roadbook, I'm not going to google earth the whole course. (Counts for all the races btw. nothing written in the road book, that's it)

handzame 11, cat 2 I guess, put in 8 as number of riders.

Thank you 8-)

Oh, no cobbles. On one of the pictures on their site some cobbles are shown. But probably they are far away from the finish without any impact. Lots of sprinters in the Erelijst. So just seems to be a sprinters course.

I just can't google all the streetnames to see if some cobble pictures come up. Or look at the whole course with ultrazoom in google earth, most of the time you can't really recognize if it's cobblestones or not anyway... sometimes if you know it, yes, otherwise, not really.

The same is true for all the north races, very possible that De Panne has more cobble too. They mentioned one sector, Haaghoek, seems to be everybodies favorite sector this year, nothing else.

So if somebody finds some info on their site or somewhere, ah! km 85 is cobblestone, looks bad! Post it, I'll change it, but I'll not start doing a search for every km for every race to see if there are some cobbles that the organizers didn't mention in their roadbook .

Probably exactly the same Critérium International than last year.
Maybe few changes in the first stage (I've ot found the official roadbook) but the hills are exactly the same. ;)

Found this about the Criterium International 2011:

According to Vélo Magazine in February 2011, the stages will be quite similar to the one in 2010:
- the first stage, extended from 175 to 200 km, still takes place on the south side of the island and goes towards Propriano in a clockwards direction, before exploring two new climbs (Saint-Eustache and Aullen) before the final climb of the Col de l'Ospedale (963 m)
- the stage in line on Sunday is similar to the one which took place last year
- the short final individual time trial has been modified to avoid Porto-Vecchio's city center on the day where they have local votes. It's almost completely flat while last year a short climb at the start made it a difficult time trial

would this be enough of info for the designer of the 2010 edition to do it? No Profiles on official page yet
Your source is older than mine, so I don't know which one I can believe. No trace of St-Eustache and Aullen on mine ...
Anyway it will not change a lot.
So, we can put the profiles of last year. If later the profiles are uploaded I will try to change it (of there are changes) if I have time to do it. Sounds OK ?
Official Programme for 2011 is now online:
http://www.letour.fr/2011/CRI/COURSE/us ... cours.html

1st Stage is longer than last year, and time trial 700m shorter.

Ok, few changes, I'll try to have a look if I have time to do. But leso can put the old profile online first, because it will not change anything at the final result. This is still a HC climb with a selective race before that.

8kms (7800m), same distance, but not the same streets.

Stages are nice to draw, as Volta Catalunya not only has a detailed roadbook, but also already shows the roads in Google Maps, so very easy to draw the detailed ascents and roads.

Ok, just went to look if those stages could be for Conti...

Bah, grr, no ok.
But other thing. Really sure that you want the mintact change where it is?

stage 6: 161, but there is a 6 6 4 1 0 1 6 passage from Km 143 on. Which very likely will be the decisive point.. grrr. anti Conti of course.. grr. But the mintact, Conti or no Conti IMO would fit much better at 140 than 160.
