me too, but till 15.09. but you can change the name of the deutschland tour if you want to do that, i have no problem with it. i do not think that the name is much important.

Re: September 2010
Well, if you want I can try to do something using the map of the stages. The only problem is for the two time trials, no representation on the map, no pdf about them, we just know their lenght and the cities where they take place.Robyklebt wrote:
Tours: Hokkaido would be a possibility. But for the moment a huge PDF is loading, no clue what's in it....
Re: September 2010
Go for it... second try with that PDF thing had the same effect, my computer got into a loooong unending loading exercise....I'm not going to do Hokkaido, if you want to try, excellent!

I'm sorry but I fear finally I couldn't do it as I'll be absent to tomorrow from the 30th of August, it's gonna be a bit just...
Re: September 2010
No problem for me.... it's only a 2.2 race anyway, we'll survive without it...

The San Francisco Grand Prix was a road cycling race held in San Francisco, United States in early September. It was as a 1.HC event and in 2005 part of the UCI America Tour. It lasted five years (From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia).
So this race is not really fantasy. Maybe we can put this race in the september calender?

Re: September 2010
Many things. as usual:
1: Jiangsu: The organizer requested this in his fantasy thread:
2: Vuelta until the 19th sepember. 5 times. 10-15-18-20-22
Then: 3-7 Canada 5 times. IMO too many. 3 would be enough. It's a fantasy race, there really is no need for 5 times if parallel we have a GT and a semi classic like Romagna. Try to steer the teams towards the more important races! And here that's 1 Vuelta, 2 Romagna.
5: Romagna 5 times: Parallel Jef Scherens 4 times. Too much. Here the problem is: QUALITY for classics and semi-classic. And Romagna is a semi classic. With 5 times, but during a GT with 5 times, a fantasy tour with 5 times and a cat 2 race with 5 times... the risk of having weak groups is just too big. And it's a sunday, when most people are a bit more flexible. I say: 3 times Canada, 4 times Romagna and 3 times Cat 2 belgian is enough. Even with 4 times maybe the groups won't be that strong. Which is a shame, cat 3 races really deserve a fairly strong peloton.3 Romagna 2 Jef whatever would be even better.
10: Québec: 6 times. Same thing, even without Canada parallel and another race. To have strong groups, 5 times would be enough. I would prefer 4 actually. Quality.
11-18 Britain: 5 times again. Too much again. Britain cat 2, but really not that important. No problem if the groups are weak I think, they will be in reality too, 1-2 strong teams, the rest just there... but, the classics and semi classics that are parallel deserve better. Paris-Bruxelles-Montréal-Fourmies. 3 or ok, here 4 times.
11: Paris-Bruxelles: cat 4, saturday. Here again 4 times will be enough.
12: Fourmies and Montreal: 3 times each probably enough.
Generally: Promote the more important races over the less important ones. Romagna over Canada, Paris-Bruxelles etc. over Britain. Means, don't offer too many times for the unimportant races. Then promote strong groups for the more important races. Means less times for the unimportant parallel programs AND less time for those races as well, to improve the quality of the group. Take the flexibility into account, for 1 day races it's certainly bigger than for tours. On weekends it's even bigger than on weekdays. So weekend cat 3 and cat 4 races: 4 times enough if there is anything parallel. LIke the vuelta. Make those win worth something... with all the starting times you planned right now even I could win some cat 3- cat 4 races I think... but how much would it really be worth?
1: Jiangsu: The organizer requested this in his fantasy thread:
If it's allowed to have such request for fantasy races.... I'd like all my chinese ones with 8 riders. If not, it's ok too.But after Li Fuyu's positive doping test our local sponsors seem more reluctant to participate. The compromise: From now on they demand that only 8 riders be allowed to participate per team. 8 riders=4 hotel rooms, 9 riders=5. OK for D1 Teams they always give 2 extrarooms for the staff, the sausage managers will have to sleep in the team cars.
2: Vuelta until the 19th sepember. 5 times. 10-15-18-20-22

@leso : and don't forget the ITT and pavé race dates
Re: September 2010
Problem with Montreal.
I put the mintact on the wrong place... put it as length of the race brilliantly... So obviously the wrong length. 157 km instead of 192!
Resaved it now, same name same everything, but with the correct length... so lesossies do what you do in those cases please...reload the thing or something..
Then, Québec cat 3 Montréal cat 2 makes no sense, both are new Pro Tour races, both should get the same category.
GP de Wallonie, cat 3 last year, 1c c4a, so should be cat 3 this year again, not 2.

OK
Pavé races are first Wallonie and Vlaanderen.
ITT and othe pavé maybe in the last third of september.
What about "Rund um den Kartoffelacker" from 2009 again ?

There's something wrong with the Canada Tour.
Here there are 6 stages, but in the calendar are only 5:
Furthermore: Stages 2 & 3 oviously have got corrected stage namings("Western Canada Tour Stage x.."). In the race calendar only the start and finishing towns are listed, without name of the stage race and number of the stage.

The tour was bad noticed. The 5 ones were in Canada and the 6th was in Kanada, the stupid program didn´t know that it is the same.Luna wrote: @Leso:

Re: September 2010
The last time I design that race..... if the parcours changes next year and nobody does it, we just use the same.. not going to do that thing again
08.09 and cat 3
And don't forget to keep the 18th free. Modena, they will present it 5 days before the race, will design it then.. ok the 14th probably...

Re: September 2010
OK for Modena and Mem RvS
I am not happy with the World championschips:
-With all the CMs at 29.09, not everybody can race in the week at every time.
-If I program the U23 CM at 29.09.2010 18h and 20h
and the elite race at 03.10.2010, 18h and 20h (the best day time for max. people) I must transfer the Franco-Belge to the 04th October.
The best would be, I could race the Franco Belge parallel to the CMs.
I´ll ask Buhmann if it is possible.
