Re: Wizards Cycling: De toenemende Ster van Amsterdam

Giro del Trentino Not being too interested in La Fleche Wallonné, the Wizards tried to achieve a similar success like in last years´ participation with Herbert Königsbauer ending 2nd. This year Wesley Sneijder was able to end up 5th in the general classement and 3rd on both mountain stages. We almo...

Re: Les Ardennes

I really like what Cadel is experiencing right now. He´s in his best shape and the world championship was that kind of big race he needed to finally get some release off the pressure. I always liked him, but now he´s a great rider that wins important races. Good for cycling.

Re: Wizards Cycling: De toenemende Ster van Amsterdam

Jan takes the Bonbon-victory! Minutes ago in a fascinating finale Jan Vermaart was able to beat the rest and shows that the second place at Paris-Roubaix was not luck, but maybe bad luck. He wins Tro Bro Leon and by that makes the 4th season victory complete. After a strong week at the month change...

Just to add this: Cool, thanks for the flowers^^ I wanted to write a 2011 version for the Southern Sun Classics anyway, thought of same finale but this time between the middle climb and last climb more "Sieb"-Kms. If necessary, I´ll get it done ; )

Re: Energy reform

The principle is like this: We start in the beginning (doesn´t matter how long the race is(!)) always with the same energy cost (kinda makes sense, ..). Then the costs will grow with the race. So like my numbers say (just look at the result  ) we start at Km 1 with e.g. 5 energy cost pro km...

Re: Energy reform

Distance, completely unreloadable: Makes the distance a factor for leaders and protected riders, which so far isn't the case. But should be. So, here we can make the second Lizard effect, haha! Like my idea for non-linear energy loss in tempo we can do the same thing for long distance races. As Rob...
