Why not change the course? Not changing it just for the purpose of not changing it is not a good policy. No classic course is perfect. They can't be. And all can be improved, all should be improved. Actually heard speculation that the ASO thinks about inviting 25 teams with 8 riders this year....Otherwise yes, GT have always (or for a long time at least) been ridden with teams of 9. Hope stays that way, ASO/RCS would really prove how idiotic they are if they invite 25 teams now... few years ago...

10-15-19-23 and you have 23. Saturday/Sunday is flexible for MOST people. It's a one day race. Even I would start at 19 (2 am for me) if I couldn't at 14/15 for some reason on a saturday evening. (ok, sunday rather not, but then if I can't ride in the afternoon for PR or Flanders.. well, tough luck....
