I add Lauri Vaska here. He is certainly not lazy with 49-90-79-48-46, but training to 90 flat at 26-3 made him a prime candidate for this. He has not trained 17 times since and is now 31. So it is very likely he can extend this stretch for 8 more trainings, with some luck even more.

I disagree. Climbers are disadvantaged by flat finals and we do not change them either. The way climbers work is not realistic but it makes the game nice to play and this includes climbers and pave as well.

I guess the idea was not do do the same as last year (19-22). For me 21h sounds nice, but I am not sure about 18h. In spring and summer this is often a tricky time, so I would fear we get a big 21h group and a much smaller 18h group. So maybe do 19h again if nobody insists on 18h.

Sorry, you should have seen me grinning while writing it. I know I can be annoying from time to time, so thanks for all the work everybody does to make the race calendar possible.

Not much to complain about the calendar this month. Maybe we can ride the Volta NXT classic two days later on the 7th. Apart from that, I am fine with no parallel tours to monuments and Basque. So for once I will not argue for additional tours.
