Re: July 2024

We decided to go high on the Tour editions, so I see no reason why not 2 editions for each tour here. Just reduce the one day race editions on the days with 3 parallel tours. Money in small fields is still an issue, but it should not influence the race calendar. While big fields are more fun not man...

Re: way harder offline rules needed (call it the Viro case - NOT for harrasment)

There could be a case for a moderate rules change, but some suggestions, e. g. Chense's, are far too restrictive. It could hit teams that are fair, but have no interest in being online all the time if they missed the group and have no intention to ride against it. Much is policed by the managers the...

autotempo resets to shared each km

Is it possible that riders in autotempo keep normal or alone tempo? At so moment, I have to reset the setting each km to make it work. It would help in really close fights to stay in the race. Riders without tempo should still be set to shared. Being able to drop riders to help their teammates alrea...

Re: June 2024

Well, I add my opinion as well. I do not think we have enough teams for five Editions of the Tour. Riding in small fields (or whatever you want to call them) earns lots of money but is no fun. So 2 points against 5 Editions. For The two June tours, just keep to the calendar. Riding the races on the ...

No Fourier? He is made for the Maglia Ciclamino!
I do not see a chance, winning flat stages brings so many points. Even the hilly stages are hard to win and I would have to bring the low reg support.

Maybe I switch him in if top 5 in flat stages is realistic.

Re: Giro 2024

So the sleepwalker edition for me as well. As the mountains are too high for Frederick and I do not want to bring a hillsprinter team it means the focus is on flat and reg. With my team, that means reg is just bad and not disastrous. 1 - Pablo Yapuchura - may be his last big captaincy 2 - Ralf Reski...

If we define cat 4 as classics it would be a good idea to add "Monument wins" and "Grand Tour wins" as palmares entrees.

Maybe remove the automatic relegation of inactive teams that sold all their riders. Base relegation in earned points instead of riders in the team would help as well.

Is there a Race created for Quito - Tena? Cannot find it in the Race Editor Tab.
There is now. Looks like I was not able to handle the editor correctly when I designed it.

Re: Blackboard for team sitting

Has anybody time to look after my riders next Friday (02.02.24) and/or Saturday(03.02.24), 20 h at Etoile de Bessèges? The job would be to keep the leader close enough in GC for the TT on Sunday. Please write me a PM.

Re: Team attack - AGF - Kisoro-Kabale 11h

As you can block your own attack, I guess he sec-tricked him out of tempo for the attack. You guess? Have you seen it or is this just speculation? Yes I should not have put myself into this heated situation. From the discussion so far I just do not see how he gained an advantage. But I see that AGF...

Do we still need min tact?

This might be controversial for some managers who ride her forever, but I no longer see the point in min-tact. When the game started ages ago slow internet connections were still a thing and the min-tact reduced the disadvantages for managers with slow connections. Now updates are nearly instant and...

Re: Suggestion for the offseason calendar

If you do not like design competition, so be it. I think the game looses out as it is a way to draw new designers into it and helps us to find tours that draw more interest. Nevertheless, we need some feedback on the races and a replacement of weak tours. Participation could be a criterium, polls af...

Re: Suggestion for the offseason calendar

Let us discuss the future of the Andes. Riding it for the first time and watching some other editions it has become too extreme. The fields are often paralyzed by fear of losing riders and the inability to recover between stages. It might be fun if 2 or 3 strong teams battle it out, but we do not ha...

If you still need a 3-day tour in the off-season, this is my suggestion. Unfortunately, the race is pure fantasy at the moment. The race runs under the UN Flag as the territories are disputed. Day 1: 2 half stages, a short time-trial followed by a short road course in Jerusalem. http://cycling4freak...

Re: Luxury Tax / Salary Cap / Money for small fields

1.) DO NOT adjust Salary and Covered Salary by # of Teams. (There is really no reason to adjust that, so we could just stop those subsidies.) I think this would be enough. Big Teams in small fields will no longer earn lots of money and the main problem is solved. I do not believe it is a good idea ...
